For those 70s who are still gearing up and don't have excellent trinkets for your slots, I strongly suggest running the Brewfest daily in BRD. With a group of five, you can get five attempts at a very easy boss each day, and each has a shot at dropping
Dark Iron Smoking Pipe
- a clone of the Icon of the Silver Crescent.

The only thing i'm wondering about that is if you can dual wield it with the icon, then it would be a nice replacement for my timbals, an extra +155 dmg for 20 seconds every 2 minutes is nice

Don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to have both equipped - though I'll grant I haven't tried it yet. They're different trinkets.

I use icon + this, so can confirm that they can be used together.
They cannot be activated together of course.
I'm wearing freaking T6 and was still using xiri's bloody gift, I'm....... very....... glad to get rid of that last irritating blue.
All in all inferior to hex shrunken head and BT/Sunwell trinkets, but the icon/pipe combo will take you a long way :)
Completely off track, yay for getting the kodo. Some guildies and I sat in there last night and killed him about 20 times, cycling all our alts through, and lo and behold there it goes :) I'm a very happy camper. With a lock you can simply sub alts in and summon them there. Lots of kills!

yeah just to confirm that the 'on use' effects can't stack so you can't activate the second during the 20 second effect of the first but they do NOT share the 2 minute cooldown.

Don;t tell me you bought a blessings deck!
I assembled one a month ago when i finally got sick and tired of my blimmen xiri's, found link for the pipe literally hours after buying my ace :( sold the deck immediately and waited for the pipe

the crusade card and the brewfest pipe are quite different. i assume the above poster was saying that they'd just spent 41 badges on the identical icon of the silver crescent.
personally i use both the pipe and icon for trash but the crusade card and timbal's/pipe for bosses.
if you can maintain a full stack on the card it's one of the best trinkets in the game, the brewfest pipe doesn't come close.

Fair call. by my math the card stacks to a constant 80 dmg, while the pipe/icon give a static 43 + 155 1/6th of the time, or 68.83 average.
That certainly indicates that the card is better, but the pipe/icon can be timed to match hero's/drums/PI's/burn phases etc when you can get the most out of it. I won't try and say that the pipe/icon is better, but the difference isn't huge at all :-)

true enough, all these good damage trinkets are pretty close together and the difficulty of triggering the icon to maximise it's effect it's weighed out by the difficulty of maintaining a full stack on fights with phase shifts etc.
good trinket breakdown
this link shows some well researched breakdowns of the various trinkets and they're all very close. at this point we're really talking about min/maxing and, in that light, i think there is a worthwhile difference.
