It's a nice chunk of efficiency you're losing not having it, especially with CoH, but I think they gave holy priests things like Serendipity, the new SoL, and Imp. Holy Conc. to counteract not having it by making it easier for holy priests to exit the 5sr while still actively healing.

I am still very uncomfortable about the idea of losing 10% mana efficiency on ALL instant cast spells.
As a Holy (IDS) priest I spend a large amount of my time throwing out PoM and Renew and I cant see these being affected by Serendipity and SoL or Imp Holy Conc.
However, I think with the loss of downranking and the change in spell costs we will see a complete reworking of endgame healing (for all classes) anyway.
The first month of WotLK will be an uncomfortable time for all caster classes as they rework their thinking on mana efficiency.
It may be that we can live without Mental Agility as we will need to rely on crits to get Clearcasting, so there are a lot of changes ahead.
I think it is more important to keep Meditation and Inner Focus to keep the regen and O5SR concept at the moment.
I personally am practising using only max rank spells atm when I heal raids and instances to get a feel for how things will be. I drink more pots, but spend less time casting generally (I have been working on predicting damage where possible) keeping me O5SR longer.
I am also using mana cost reducing/improved regen trinkets more to try and rework efficiency issues.
I do tend to drink a little more than I had done previously, but noone has died yet due to my change in healing style.
I think we will have to wait and see how things work out, and remember that Blizz will carry on making the changes after WotLK comes out while they try to work out the kinks in the classes.
