here's a few I just found:
1. Mangle doesn't affect shred or maul.
- sorta nice for cats, because we can shred spam all the time...
2. Berserk for bear form sorta sucks now (mangle hits 3 targets and has no cooldown... and that's it)
3. Berserk sorta sucks in cat form for pvp now... because you can't use tiger's fury while berserk is active.
4. Protector of the pack was nerfed from 20/40/60% bonus attack power to 2/4/6% bonus attack power (just a little nerf ><)
5. new Last Stand ability (Survival Instincts)
6. Rend and Tear increased from 2/4/6/8/10% to 4/8/12/16/20% (hopefully this will make up for the decrease in shred damage due to #1)
7. Predatory Instincts changed from 5 to 3 talent points

You both took Bash over Expertise. Your build is the same as his, so I'll direct you to my response here:

Hey,
I'm just basing this on the fact that a whole crap load of our gear now has expertise, so that talent point interchange is dependant on how much expertise you have so if you are lacking a bit, precision might be a better idea.
Remember it's 10
Expertise
, not 10 Expertise
Rating
. That makes it quite a nice way to relieve need for Expertise elsewhere.

Two things... 30 seconds off my Bash and the fact the its now a base spell interrupt make brutal impact a viable tanking talent now... not to mention pvp... bashes twice as often!...
Also, according to my brother (have yet to find out on the PTR that while it SAYS 10 expertise, it will really be 10 rating... He says warriors have similarly worded talents that only give the rating not such a large amount.

The spell interrupt component of
Bash (WotLK)
is the portion of it that will be actually useful in tanking situations and that is un-talented. In a group/raid situation, you will have someone else who can interrupt for you, if an interrupt is necessary. You will now have something you can use in a pinch, though. Expertise, however, will improve your threat, your DPS and by extension your ability as a tank to perform -- not to mention, relieve you from some Expertise in your gear choices allowing you to prioritize TPS/DPS increasing stats.
As far as having your tanking spec be truly viable in a PvP situation ... enjoy that for a few more weeks. After that, you'll have to make some choices.

The talent needs to have the same effect at all levels. The rating system was made to provide things that have different effects at different levels by adding scaling stats that translate into actual stats by a formula based on level.
All talented modifications to actual stats are not ratings.
Examples:
Anticipation (Paladin)
(+20 Defense skill)
Defiance (Warrior)
(+6 Expertise)
Anticipation (Shaman)
(5% Dodge)

Tanking build at level 80:
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGGsfbdceRcIzIo0E0z
I see nothing really wrong with this build, Master Shapeshifter is not really needed for tanking I'd say
Pure Feral DPS
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGMsfrz0ek0IuAo0Eczb
Infected wounds is a terrible talent outside of PvP/lvling. It offers no dps increase and it's annoying when a tank wants to kite a mob somewhere and you are holding the mob up with a slowing effect. For Pure dps in cat form, infected wounds it out.
Instead, take the points and put them into Genesis, if, I am assuming so, they affect bleeding effects too. Getting more than 2 points into it is difficult though, so you will only gain 2% damage with DoTs, but it's worth it if going for PvE dps.

Thats how I was reading it too, 2% isnt much but its better than 0% for sure.
