*prelude*
Many WoW newbies are left slack-jawed after seeing an AoE pally for the first time. This often leads to hilarious /whispers and even more hilarious reactions by players in-game.
Post your best AoE stories here!
*my story*
While trying to discover new spots to grind in Badlands, I came across a nice little tight camp of gnolls at Agmond's Rest. Now I did not know this at the time I started pulling (10 at a time) but there was a graveyard recently put in about 25 yards from the main camp of gnolls.
I was just doing my AoE thing with 10-11 gnolls on me on this particular pull. I was at about 3/4 health and near full mana when I notice my health sudenly drop by about a quarter. Being a paladin, This was rather odd, so I went ahead and bubbled and started to bandage. This was when I noticed a cute little alliance rogue who desperately wanted to eat my heart. I was a little concerned because I had about 8 mobs still on me.
So what did I do? I simply treated him as if he were just one of the gnolls. I kept casting Holy Shield and a Consecration here and there. Needless to say, I blocked most of his strike with ease, and he died.
Now remember what I said about the graveyard being so close? When he came back about 10 seconds later, I actually thought he was soulstoned (again, I had no idea of the graveyard!) So I had to kill him AGAIN! Focused on him (still with about 6-7 gnolls beating on me keeping redoubt and reck up) with seal of light, and he falls once more.
He comes back AGAIN about 15 seconds later (this time after bandaging to near full) and trys one more time to kill me. But wait, I'm a paladin, remember? By this time, I had taken care of more of the gnolls, and the rest were running around with low health. So I bubble after a huge ambush crit, holy light to full, and pull all the stops to see his dead body once more. Seal of justice is a bitch...
And I never even had to use Lay on Hands....

A smarter rogue would have kept turning you around to take max damage (if you face him, your back will be against the rogue, if you're facing the mobs, your back against the rogue, simple to do with a bit of kiting) and run out of consecrate imo.
I don't have a special AoE story, more or less of the regular 1 pull SM cath, Strath, SH, Demon hunters, etc
rofl.

he was moving around to try to get behind me, but i was able to train the mobs to stay in front of me most of the time.
