um, it doesnt have unlimited range, it's 30 yards I think, maybe 35.
Anyways, death grip isnt a real taunt, it works like mocking blow, forcing the target to attack you instead of putting you at the top of the threat list.
We do have a taunt however, it's called Dark Command and is basically an exact copy of taunt for warriors or growl for druids.

Hover over the link and under the name of the power is the range: "Unlimited Range". Seems like the paladin taunt in regards to how the taunt works.
It's never been infinite range, thats just a wowhead error.

That's the appropriate link, the other one is based on a spell effect, not the actual spell itself.

As I understand it, frost is the standard tanking tree, whereas unholy specialises in anti-magic and AoE tanking. I will finally play the beta tonight, so I'll post updates, assuming visas or another tester doesn't beat me :P

Frost has a bit more avoidance than unholy, and better crowd control / burst single target damage. Unholy can tank just fine, however - we get more mitigation through bone shield + icebound fortitude than frost can get, at the cost of less avoidance. We've got better aoe capability as well.

I know I'll be switching between Blood (with a smidgen of Unholy) for Solo and PvP DPS power, and a Frost/Unholy tree for tanking when the need arises. It's good, because our guild needs a nice high level tank so I'll hopefully level mine fairly quickly.
This is the build I'm using on beta right now:

Works fairly well for just about everything... dps, tanking, pvp. Fairly balanced build, but I'll probably switch a few things around for my build on live.

No Anti-Magic Zone...For shame, lol.
AMZ is utter crap for pve right now, and taking points in magic suppression makes AMS buggy as hell >.<

Visas,
Why no Necrosis. That's 10% additional damage not mitigated by armor, isn't it? How can you pass that one up?

Necrosis is white damage only.

Necrosis is white damage only.
Your auto attack deals an extra 10% shadow damage. The damage is shadow, the proc is on white damage only, but isn't that substantial?

yea, my build focuses more on aoe and tanking, necrosis isnt really that great anymore unless you're min-maxing, and it works much better for a dual wield focused spec. I dont dual wield.
Very little of my DK's damage comes from autoattacks. Roughly 50% of my damage ends up coming from a combination of unholy blight, wandering plague, and blood plague / frost fever. Most of the rest is from blood boil, scourge strike, and death&decay.
