Teldrassil. Jutting branches. 5000 yard fall.
'Nuff said.
Hey, there's only one reason you even needed to be out on those branches so if you went splat out there it was your own damn fault. :P
As for me, ask any Vaniila player about the Vanilla Onyxia run. If you don't get a visible shudder out of them they never did it.
(for those of you who aren't aware, before Dustwallow's first revamp the nearest graveyard for alliance was over by Theramore. If you had people who new the location of the only character wide gap in the otherwise blocked ridge line it was a relatively straight shot to the cave. If not you had to go ALL the way around the horseshoe which was about 4-5 times as long.
And ealry on, wipes to Ony were very frequent.)

Are you able to cite a reference of the devs saying that? I don't keep up-to-date on any Blizzard postings.
Who needs Blizzard for an industry wide change? Even EQ did away with it years ago (and the reasoning is exactly what I posted). Google it.
But they still have a death penalty...die enough you can delevel. Why raiding there is a tad more serious and they don't tolerate the riftraft that's too common in WoW.
Ghost runs really have no purpose in games with 60+ levels. It's an archaic hold over, like binding weapons.

So that's a no, then, you don't have any evidence for what you said. Please explain why we should take you at your word on any of this if you won't back up your claims.

No. That's not constantly feeding a negative reply trap. WoW forums are full of it.
Unlike the scientific method, folks are free to Google these things for themselves and get the data as it's readily available to all. No need to hand feed laziness and trolls (so seen in trade chat when most of their questions can be asked by just using Wowhead, and folks know it exists -- you know Google exists, too).
You can supply 1000001 links, all it takes is a driveby to say, "that's untrue" to turn it into another crap session. Perfect example is no research but a comment of, "Please explain why we should take you at your word". There's plenty of resources at people's fingertips if they even take 2 minutes to search to find it for themselves. Wowhead wouldn't exist without curiosity and time management...right?

You're the one making the claim. Burden of proof is on you. If you can't prove that what you're saying is true then there's no reason to believe you; and by making a claim and telling others to prove it for you, you're admitting that either your argument has no merit or that you have no intention to actually have a reasonable discussion.
Considering your level of missing the point
in this thread
, I'm convinced that it's the latter and would advise others here to not interact with you.

This isn't a scientific debate. This is a wow general forum. Know the difference.

However, if you aren't willing to back up your arguments, why should we take you seriously? Since after all, Google-Fu can show things from 2007-2009 which aren't all that relevant now a days or could be set up on private blogs which really, you shouldn't be getting your information from.

The Hellfire Ramparts Ghost Run is pretty bad and confusing if you don't know which side of the road to go up on. Happened to me more that I care to think about.
Cheers.
Strange. I never particularly has a problem with that one. I could imagine what would happen if say, you fell into the chasm.

Ugh, baaaaad memories of long corpse runs there- both the first times in when I didn't know where I was going and much later on when I was on an alt and totally forgot where to go.

Thing is...you can claim anything you want; still don't mean you are in the right, since through Google-Fu you can usually find 5-10 articles on the same page that out right contradict each other.
So really, if you want to make a point, make a link and save yourself some time.

So can you, but at the end of the day -- who cares?
Your tactic is seem time and time again all over the internet., where it's easier to sit back and demand information. Despite you can do it yourself.
When that doesn't work, attack the messenger. It's easier than opening a brower and investigate what you're complaining about in the first place.
And I never reward bad behavior.

See when you do things like that, there isn't a reason to debate you; even if someone were to bring up a counter argument and back it up with links, you'll still tell them to go search.

It's not designed for a debate. A discussion, not a debate and certainly not one attacking the messenger for the message.

No, you've clearly made it into a debate, when you says things like 'corpse runs have been done away with' and similar comments, but don't back it up.

More particularly "the devs say it is just a time sink" and not giving any sort of link to a post that backs that up.

Adamsm, how long have you spent talking about me to cause this episode? Talking about me isn't going to give you the info (that's rewarding bad behavior). Especially when it's available to anyone willing to look it up. Worse, when the gaming industry knows why it existed, and you're arguing even against them.
That's what the link I did enclose was for -- to tell you how your approach backfires. I didn't pull that comment from a hat, afterall.
BTW, if your object is to seed forums (71k worth), that is not how to do it. Because once someone says to you they're not playing that monday morning quarterback game, you need to move on. Everything after that point is just post padding...and looks it.

Lol, and there's a post count comment; well that's the standard response of a troll.
So, won't back up any of your 'discussions' and feel the need to send people off to Google, showing you don't have solid evidence. Really, all I needed to know; have a nice time here on the forums Wowpixel.

If you bother to scroll up, instead of not reading, you can see where the impasse is located: Blizzard isn't the center of game development. Even they will admit that, but fans have a harder time understanding this, in their effort to defend head first.
The knee jerk defense reaction is amusing, though (attacking the messenger to try to keep them more occupied on defending themselves, than the info itself -- info known by Blizzard and all game developers). In short, you're arguing for nothing.
Seeding forums like that guarantees low participation -- who wants to argue for nothing?
