My most Epic loot was the Great Brewfest Kodo, because it was the 5th kill on the last day of Brewfest when I finally saw it drop for the first time and I rolled a 99 on it. I was so happy when I won it because I had never been able to win any of the other rare mounts from Old World or BC and the kodo was (and is) the coolest land mount imo.
Finally getting my Tabard of the achiever for getting 25 unique tabards! Took me forever to get all the exalted reps in BC to get it but it was so worth the time!
My most epic drop ever was in a fierce battle with the dragon Keristrasza. My group had wiped once to her, and we had gone back for more punishment. My 71 Hunter was doing all the "pew pew" he could muster, and my pet was forced to run in a hurried frenzy to attack and not be frozen to death. Our shaman tried in vein to heal our rapidly depleting dark knight. Our DK could only last so long under her pre-frozen, ready to serve might! Finally, at approx. 15% of her health, she succeeded in delivering her final coup against our DK, and he fell....fell....fell...face first into the hard frozen ground. Our shaman soon followed, and by a miracle of feign death, I was spared, only to let the mage and rogue fall in my place. Now alone, my pet and I faced this terrible being, both of us staggering from her massive blows. Misdirection ensured my pet met his maker first. My face fell in horror, as I was sure that I would be trekking back....making my way into her terrible chambers to meet the same fate again, as though in some twisted version of "Groundhog Day", and my Hunter was Bill Murray. However, on this day, Kill Shot smiled upon me, and it came up as she charged against me. Bullet met breath, and we died at the same time. We had won. The drop was a blue dagger, of which I cannot recall the name. I passed on it, and the rogue won the roll, grats to him. In my inventory or not, that was without a doubt, my MOST EPIC DROP EVER! Even after teh 20g repair bill.
For me it was http://www.wowhead.com/?item=5195, which was my first blue item ever from my first dungeon ever. I was brand new to warcraft so that was huge for me, and it's been in my bank ever since.
My most epic loot, would have to be a blue jewelcrafting recipe I got while I was farming water primals when I was in the midst of making my Frozen Shadoweave for my Shadow Priest waaaaaay back when you still needed attunement to get into Karazhan. What made this important was I had to take out a big loan from a guild mate (he was an arse and made me pay him back with interest). Paying him back was also tough, because this was my first 70, and I had a grand total of 2 dailies for money, and I wasn't big on questing in SMV or finishing Netherstorm. That pattern alone got me 500g, which helped significantly with paying him back for the flyer. I would have to say that is more epic than any drop I could've gotten in this game.Even more epic than when I won my T4 helm against a mage on my Warlock with a roll of 97 when he rolled a 92.
Most epic thing I've ever gotten was FINALLY beating Illidan after months of hard work just to be able to get to him and again several more weeks to be able to down him, and finally watching him die.
My T7 pants dropped. Woot!
My epic drop was my baby phoenix. I love that guy! Ran MGT many times, only saw it once, and rolled a 98 to win it! Yay me!
My most epic drop was when i got Benediction/Anathema on my priest, it was my first ever raid dungeon epic :) Still remember how I farmed immolation potions just to do the quest! Awesome times.
I was always partial to the pitchforks that drop in Hillsbrad, I remember preTBC when the sold 20-30g cuz nobody wanted to farm for them but they still looked cool with firey enchants =) I think someone on Azuremyst realm had Crusader on one....lol and to gtong, I still always giggle a little inside when I see The Stoppable Force drop =)
