Back in the days when nobody had heard of resillience and when ahn'qiraj only was for Nihilium we raided Molten Core. after a couple of months of wiping on Ragnaros we finally got him down. with the adrenalin still maxing about 30 minutes after the epic event, and when people had lost their voices due to screaming like little girls we finally got the loot table. and I got my Bloodfang Pants. thats the most epic loot I've ever got

Heh my most epix loot was Felstriker (epix dagger fron rend blackhand), I had farmed it like 1-3months. Drop rate suckz so much that i think it was first felstriker at whole server :P, anyways we were killing rend when tank died, rend had 30% at that moment, after that almost all other dps but not me :) i used evasion (ftw) and all other cd's and pwned him. when that dagger dropped i was only melee dps in raid so i it was mine! atlast! spammed all odd stuff to raid chat after that ^^ like: MEH ITS MIENH LIKZES ATLAST! BUHAHAAHAH!.I think i still got it in bank... g2 check today :)
One of the most memorable drops I've ever looted was a Myrmidon's Signet which dropped in the Noxious Glade in EPL on my first 60. This was around the period of time shortly after epic mounts became available and my farming buddy and I FREAKED out when we saw it on the body. We were some broke kids back then and knew our guild would've been upset w/us if they found out we weren't going to give it to one of our tanks. So we decided to make a toon called Lordofthering and put it in the AH for a ridic (to us, anyway) amount of money. It ended up selling for 2.4k gold which we split down the middle and consequently were able to purchase our epic mounts a LOT sooner than we had ever thought possible.
As of WotLK, the most awesome looking epic loot drop that dropped that I have gotten is the Staff of Draconic Combat, from the final boss, Ley-Guardian Eregos in Heroic: The Oculus
My Most Epic Drop:This was back way, way before Burning Crusade was ever announced. Heck, even Naxx had not been released yet. Our guild was just testing the waters of Blackwing Lair but after a month, all we had done was perfect the art of wiping on Vael.Razorgore went down easy this night... and then Vael... it was a Friday night and our GM was determined that this would be the night. We tried. And we tried. We lost raiders, we gained raiders...for 5 hours straight we went at it. I was the 2nd Main Tank of the guild and we had the first 3 transitions down to an art...but we just could not close the deal. It was well past midnight when our raid leader announced this would be our final attempt. We only had 35 raiders left at this point. I was the second tank in our rotation. Our first tank moved in and initiated combat. Everything was going smooth... the first two Burning debuffs were paladins, so our DPs was holding up nice and steady. Our main tank got his burning debuff and I moved into position to take over when he went down. Just 2 ticks before he exploded, a rogue drew aggro and Vael spun around! His tail was in our face...SLAM...our main tank was tail slapped into the healers where he promptly exploded taking out our top 2 priests and druid!Thankfully, the rogue was basically one shotted and Vael spun back around to chew on me. I held his aggro and everything slowly came back together. Slowly our raid was whittled down as the debuffs slowly ate through us and we exploded one by one. Finally, I took my debuff and started spamming my Executes. Full rage after full rage execute were slamming into Vael of 5000 a pop. I did my duty and died as all tanks do against Vael. But the fight kept going. Tank #3 fell.Tank #4 took over with Vael under 1% but less than 10 people left in the raid. Vael is slowly going down...its a race..can we finish him off before the raid wipes. 10k...8k...5k...the final tank goes down and Vael spins around to the last Rogue... He pops evasion and tanks Vael..all that is left is a rogue and a paladin...2k left...1k left...the Rogue goes down...A Healing Paladin and less than 1k health is all that stood between us and our first Vael kill. Vent was dead silent 500...400...DEAD. WE had killed Vael!...and then the poor Paladin sat there with his Burning debuff and exploded a few seconds later...giving us a complete party wipe...AND our first Vael kill!We rezzed up and finally searched the corpse... and saw glittering there... and since the only other warrior close to me in DKP has gotten a Helm of Wrath the week before... I took that baby and wore it forever...I still think it is one of the best looking helms for a Gnome.Even 18 levels later..I still have it sitting in my bank.
I was on my priest, Human lvl 70. Raiding Kara for the first time and for me scared to mess up the whole time. Sure I've been doing Kara on my mage and nearly killed all the bosses but healing was something a bit more important then shooting fireballs. So there I was heart racing, palms sweating during Curator battle. Nearly out of mana, clicking my potion icon waiting for it to cooldown. Throwing renews and when I got mana back quick flash heals. Jumping outta my seat when the boss finally died and a plus, my gloves dropped. But there was someone else that could use them. So it was left up to a roll. I went first, rolled a 9. Alright felt that I had lost, I started heading to the ramp. Then the roll came by, rolled an 8. My mouth dropped open and I had to double check. For me, first epic looted dropped that I won with an 9.
Getting Tidal Charm was a lot of fun :D
I know it isn't epic, but i'll have to go with Orb of the Sin'dorei.
It was my first time in Kara on my hunter, who was using some green quest bow at the time, and we managed to kill the first boss, and i won Steelhawk Crossbow. I was sooo happy. It was incredible.
Step aside kids. Stoppable Force in the house! (I used to have a bank alt that stockpiled these badboys)
My favorite epic drop was the Brewfest ram mount. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that I had won the roll. It is still the mount that I ride everywhere even though I have over 30 mounts now.
My T5 shoulders for my priest. I wanted my wings soooo badly! I actually cried when I finally got them. Beyond that, my first long small pet grind -- my tiny crimson whelpling. It took nine hours.
"The Horse of Darkness"I was in a 5 man group with my buddies, and we were doing the Headless Horseman. We did him about 4 times, and on that 4th time, still, those crappy rings dropped. So we got 1 more person. I had to go take a dump during the fight, so I did. (It was quite pleasant by the way.) When I got back, I could not believe what I saw. The Headless Horseman's mount, on roll. I grabbed my mouse franticly and got ready to press need, then thought to myself that I probably wont get it. We all needed. I closed my eyes. When they were opened, It was in my inventory. I froze with excitement. I didn't know what to say. Then, I typed so many things, like "OMG!" to get my excitement out. Then, I went to outlands, and used it all day.And that is my most epic loot ever. The End!
