open air drug market.
Sounds like a sick joke but its little out of control. Baltimore needs a hotfix.
also a drinking town with a football problem.
closest bar is 3 doors down, closest drug house across street.

I don't see how it's famous for something no one outside of out the city knows of.
I asked around among my non-stockholm / non-swedish friends, and made this list based on what they said. I suppose our "famousity-range" isn't that large, however, as the amount of things we're famous for decreases drastically the further away from stockholm you get.

My town is famous for making
these
(I'm not sure how many towns in Sweden use them, but I know for sure they are pretty widespread)
They also have high-flying plans to build an arena for motor-sports.
Last but not least, I live 3km from the biggest skydiving club in scandinavia. With big national competitions.

Unfortunately... My town is responsible for unleashing the dreaded Palin upon the world.

My city is the 8th lowest crime rate in the U.S. (making it the 8th safest city) for cities between 75,000 - 99,000 people. It also has the 11th lowest crime rate for any city above 75,000 people, and the Provo-Orem metropolitan area is the 4th safest in the U.S.

I don't mind boring. It means I don't have to worry about being shot whenever I leave my house, and I don't have to worry about being robbed, etc. I can get everything else from entertainment.
