My Onyx Netherwing Drake back in the day. Flying around Northrend on that in Shadowform still is an epic feeling.

Waaaaay back before TBC my brother ran Sunken Temple hundreds of times, looking for the Elusive Dragon's call (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10847) He really wanted little dragons to pop out all the time for him. After a month of farming he gave up though (I guess he didn't really want it THAT bad)A week later he was running me through ST with my 55 rogue (my first time there on that toon) on his 60 mage, and after killing Erinikus, guess what fell, and guess who was the ONLY person in the party who needed the sword?:P I then equipped Dragons call and proceeded to aggro the mobs we hadn't killed earlier and got lucky with 2 sword procs and then vanished so my dragons could tank those mobs, all while I /danced in front of my now aggravated Brother. Thanks and a shoutout from McStabbers to Kython, thanks for the run bro haha!
I would say for this hunter would be to find Deathmaw the fastest high level wolf in the game at the time! (prior to the pet attack speed normalization) I had spent a few days out in burning steppes, looking for mainly black dragon scales as I was at the time working on getting into Molten Core but my fire resistance stats were so weak that none would take my hunter in. On about the fourth day and about five stacks of dragon scales later, there he was, Just wandering alone near the alliance camp, i quickly went to tame him, and a few seconds later... I had him and named him "Deathmaw" Not sure why but i just feel it was the most simple epic moment for my time in World of Warcraft. Still to this day it remains my peak in this never ending quest, as my hunter is no longer my main but my warrior is. There has been many other high moments in raiding as a guild or in a pick up group, but still nothing sits as high as an achievement to me as that finding that lonely odd black wolf in the middle of Burning Steppes.
Ok so Ill try to make a long story short.Been playing wow since American Beta's thanks to a friend, so over 5 years it's been now.Played paladin back in the day when MC was the only thing out there and PvP wasn't even implented.Managed to join a great guild and I was gathering up DKP to buy the best equipment, sadly the guild disbanded so I never got to use my DKP. This repeated more than once.So I have a paladin at 60 with about 50 days played and no epics because he never got to buy any nor did he win any roll.Me and my mates restarted at TBC and now I was a 70 warrior. Once again I joined a guild, managed to get the most DKP and wouldn't ya know, the co-leader disbanded the guild. So there I was, having a 70 with 20 days played and I had never seen a epic item on any of my characters whilst my friend had managed to get 4/8 set items, phat weapons and whatnot at 60 and even now they managed to buy some epics before the guild disbanded.I knew what I had to do, I had to make my own epic. I had to grind that damned Thunder. Grinded it fighting allies at every step, grinded it in the nights to avoid other people but there was always a mage or a hunter tagging em before me or mocking me by fishing up those damned Primal Waters (as if any real man learns fishing.)Mind you there were no daily quests to grind for gold at this time so everyone were trying to hjump on the primal train to get money. But then, one day it happend, two primal waters in less than a hour! And it was to be done.Being one of the first on server to get Thunder, I shouted out my triumph in the Trade chat and slowly walked towords the forge. There, I pressed that button and began toiling on what would be my first Epic.http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28440Many a elf, dwarf and man saw their end at that epic of mine. 'Tis was glorious indeed.Cheers.
My most treasured win came long before Burning Crusade was released. It was a time when there would be an UBRS group running every half hour. I started collecting the chromatic scales cause I figured they would be good to have at one point or another. The raid leader could barely contain his excitement after we killed Gyth, for the Chromatic Carapace had dropped. I was one of two eligible people to roll so I did a /roll and rolled a 26. That was my first time seeing that item after 50+ runs and I was shattered, but only until the other guy rolled a 24 and victory became mine : DI still have my Breastplate of the Chromatic Flight in my bank. I will never be DE'd cause it represents my proudest accomplishment.
My first - silly - but epic, was getting my first hunter pet on my first character.. It was a crab! Damn, I love the good ol' times!
I would say that my second most epic moment was a double PvP moment: In the same day, I earned enough arena points to get my Merciless Gladiator's Ornamented Gloves and broke 1600 team rating with our 2v2 for the first time ever. Yeah, maybe that isn't anywhere near "l33t" - but it was epic to me. :)
I can never forget the day i got Deadman's Hand (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34227) while running my Mage to-be-twink... That was really epic, totally unexpected and god, that's some ring for sure, specially for a frost mage twink
My most epic loot drop was probably when i got my giant sewer rat. I was completely prepared to fish for hours to get it and on first cast there it was 8).
