My ages is that of a great mystery. Even to me! Although I can say the diverse age gap between players only helps its community to balance out the ramped amount of younger 13 year old anger filled teens to the more mature level headed early through elder adults.
Look at games such as Runescape. If you allow an extreme force of hormone pumping bodies rule your product then it will general end badly.

I am 27 and it's my first MMO. My guild ranges from 21 to forties, most of them are real life mates who live all over the place so it's nice way to keep in touch with people I don't get to visit all the time. Both the casual and hard-core players I have met include couples, families, professionals, students, new mothers... all types find the time for escapist fantasy world capers. Anyone who says all WoW players must be unwashed weirdos who live with their mothers at age 40 is living in a dream world of cliches!

37 years old and been playing since aug 2007. 80 priest - holy, 80 lock - afflic, 65 mage - frost, 47 druid - resto, 29 priest (twink), 12 priest, 63 priest - holy, 38 paly - ret, 32 druid - bal (niece) and 62 death knight (wont ever level...hate melee). yeah. i love priests :-)
i own my own business so i am fortunate enough to play during the day if i feel like it....but i feel my age helps me keep a balance between real life and wow. my 11 yo niece plays on my account and she loves her druid..but is all about vanity pets and socializing :-)
