ok this is the WORST ninja case I've had in my life of wow.
this happened at december, back when I used my druid.
I was in 40 something, and was questing in desolace, when suddenly a DK wisps me and tells me "I'm doing a maraudon run, for the achievment, got 3 others with me who came for exp/drops, wanna heal me?"
Now, I'm fairly new to the game, (and back then I was even more of an amateur) but even I knew that feral Druids with feral gear don't make good healers.
I replyed "I'm feral speced, and don't have any healing gear, I can't be a healer, I'd run out of mana very fast"
he replyes "Don't worry, I'm lvl 63 the mobs won't hurt me that much, you will just have to trow some ocasional heals once in a while"
I was hesitant, but since I was REALLY bored, I acepted (while in my head that little voice kept telling me MISTAKE!)
the group was: me(feral druid lvl 40 something) Death Knight (unholy lvl 62) Warlock (42 afliction) rogue (40 something, I don't even care his spec) and Paladin (retribution, lvl 45)
If only I had known the nightmare that awaited me.
at first I was very paranoic/hesitant, I've never been a healer in a group, and was not geared or speced to be one.
yet, somehow we managed to go along just fine, the DK was rarely below 70% at all times, and the few times he was under 50% I just trew some heals and tehre, back to 100% since he was higher than the mobs, we really didn't needed a real healer.
the problem was the other 3 dudes, simply the most sickening buch of N0000BS i've seen in my life of wow.
let's start with the lock. he was using the VW, even when that pet doesnt' deal as much DPS as the others and to make things worst the VW had the taunt skill ON, I mean, he had his pet steal aggro from the mobs.
I politely sugested him to swich to the felhound, what was his answer? "shut up, i'm the warlock not you" pff, eventually the DK intervened and said "please put that pet of yours away, it's stealing aggro from the adds, and besides, both you the pally and the druid could benefit from the buff of the felhound"
what was the warlock's anwser? "but the hound get's killed easily" o_O the DK (I really admired that dude :P) with all the patience in the world said, "and what am I here for? as long as you atack my main target and leave the adds alone, I'll be the one getting hit, and not you or your pet, besides, soulshards are free, if it dies resummon another one"
deeper in the instance, the warlock yet again demonstrates his stupidity, cause he finally realised that as long as the DK was arround he could spam his AOE spells, and that he did, every single group of enemys the warlock used that AOE spell and stole agro from the tank always forcing me to use my very limited mana to heal him, again I tried to recomend him to don't use AOE spells, and instead focus on cursing/debuffing the main target of the tank.
what was his answer? "shut the F%&$ up, I'm the warlock not you"
I just replyed him "fine, then heal yourself warlock, I?m here to keep the tank alive, not your n00bish ass, consider yourself alone as far as heals consern" he was lucky that the DK was a good tank and he always saved his ass by gettting the aggro back
and then it happened, a boss was killed, and the drops? 2 leather pieces that greatly boosted stamina agility and AP.
since I'm feral is only logic that I need those items, well gess what? the rogue wanted them too (it's normal, he needs them too) and he hits need as well.
I won the rolls on both items, and got them, and oh boy the rain started.
both the paladin and rogue started to insult me with some VERY ofensive names, and foul languange, calling me a ninja for looting something that was clearly for DPS.
the 2 of them said the most ridiculus arguments like "your are a F$%&ing healer, why u need DPS stuff? you are a ninja, healers need no DPS"
I told the paladin, "dude from the beggining of this party, I said very clearly that i was a FERAL druid, not a healer, you better than anyone should understand that, since you are a retri paladin, imagine that an awesome 2-hand sword drops and you hit need, and everyone calls you a ninja cuase as a paladin you must only loot healing gear, well same case here, I'm not a healer, I?m a feral druid, and the same stats that are useful to a rogue are usefull to me"
the rogue trew every insult he knew and so did the pally, they even made macros to spam the chat with insults, I just told to myself, "I'm here only for the exp, so I'll just ignore them both on atention and heals and focus completely on the DK" and then /ignored them both.
well, that DK was really cool for what he did later :P after we downed the princess he wisps me saying "these 3 plp make me sick, they are the worst n00bs i've ran with, so let's teach tehm a leason, I'll pull a big group, and when I do, hearthstone imidietly, I'll go rite behind you"
so he says "well plp there is 1 more boss to kill so let's go, I'll pull a big train, don't worry about the aggro, just DPS away and let me deal with aggro"
xDD the pally warlock and rogue didn't even bothererd to even look at the DK, as soon as the mobs were upon us, they all launched their AOE atacks and the rogue just started smashint away.
none bothered to see that the tank had previously opened a deathgate, and the healer was using the port to moonglade, when they saw their HP getting dangerously low all 3 cried "hey wre is the tank, ? why am I not getting healed?"
:P the DK just said "I'm too n00b to tank, and the druid here is too n00b to heal, but since you 3 are such a buch of experts of loot-rules and how to fight, I'm sure u will be ok without us cramping your style"
they.all.died.
xDDDD needless to say that DK was added to my friedn list from that day on, he's sort of became my mentor in DK's when I rolled mine.

The worst ninja that I've encountered was recently, when I was running normal Hellfire Ramparts on my DK.
The leader sent me a tell asking if I wanted to go, so I said to him, "Tell me when you get a healer." One minute later he tells me he has a shaman, so I said ok, invite me. I go to the summoning stone and find out that the shaman is Enhancement, I told the leader (Let's call him Frinkydinky) that she is Enhancement. The shaman says, "I told you," after I told Frinkydinky. I then found the group a real healer and we get started.
Our tank (Let's call him Pool) was level 69, using Northrend greens, so I expected him to be good, he instead went and instead of using Death Grip, (he was a DK too) he just charged right on in and we wiped many times from him pulling too many groups at once.
We wiped trying to pull the first boss because the tank pulled 2 groups. Our Enhancement shammy had to go, so I called in a level 80 Feral Druid from my guild and we started again.
Frinkydinky got mad at me because I wanted Hellreaver if it dropped, too. He said that the winner would be decided by whoever gets chosen by eni-meani-minie-moe. I said, "why dont we both just roll need?" he said, "ok, that works too."
Now we get to the bad part, as we go to the second boss, I notice that Free-for-all Loot is on, and tell Frinkydinky to turn it off. He obviously didn't hear me, as he pulled the boss. The plate belt dropped, and before I could say, "no one take the belt,"
Pool took it.
A level 69 TOOK a level 60 belt.
I then proceded to yell at him and Frinkydinky for putting free for all loot on, and he said, "What did I do?" he quickly changed the loot back to Group right after that.
Now, we're at the last boss, and we down him fast, I see the loot, Plate boots and DPS ring.
Pool rolls NEED on both, so I yell at him and roll need on both as well. We both roll a 1 on the boots, but he gets it, and he wins the roll on the ring by 50. Frinkydinky says, "Anyone want to run again?"
Pool says yes, because he needs better gear, I say, "^&*! no, I am never running with you two ever again."
I put both of them on ignore and the Feral Druid and I just go back to our marry way talking about how horrible it was in guild chat. :)

Wow...those are some quite funny stories.
My worst ninja is sadly a short story though :(.
I'm on a pass/roll server, so we never need/greed anything unless it's stated beforehand. My first time in Grulls and one of the dps hits need on everything. No one else noticed so EVERYONE else had passed and the guy won everything...both my tier-4 legs dropped and with how well everyone else was geared I stood a good chance at winning both of them, one for main spec and one for off spec (I'm a priest).
My roomate was the ML so he goes to work with putting in a complaint to a GM, a couple days later we find out that the guy was claiming his 8 yr old son was playing and didn't know any better, but the GM was going to have my roomate get everyone we could get together to roll on everything. Not a bad position, I still wanted my tier-4 legs.
All together we were able to remember about 15-20 of the raiders, but before we could scedual a time to get together, apparently the GM randomly distributed the loot to different raiders. I helped set up the raid, could have gotten an upgrade, and never even got a chance to roll on anything. My roomate could also have used his tier-4 legs just to finish off his tier-4 set (of course if anyone needed for an up he wouldn't have rolled on them).

So a week ago i was doing my dailies and some guildies were hurting for a healer to do some heroics runs.
our GL is tanking this heroic group and in his desperation he offers to let me take 150g from the gbank to pay for respec and reglyph. I mainspec prot but since i'm the only pally in our guild's 10 man raid group, all the holy stuff auto-loots to me, so i have a respectable healy set
so i holy and we run through 3 or 4 heroics. Everyone is getting tons of badges and shards and we even get a few upgrades for peoples' offspecs. then we get to Heroic AN, down hadronox, the stam trinket drops. It's an upgrade for me, so i roll on it and win it.
All of a sudden my GL goes off. spouting off some bull about i stole it from him and mains before offspec and holy pallies dont use stam trinkets and blah blah. I tried to calmly explain that my main spec is prot, he knows that as he raids with me, but shouting and stupidity overcame reason and logic and the group quickly deteriorated.
With the group gone and no party chat to communicate in, he starts to attack me in guild chat (which i think the the worst thing a GL can do). He says in exchange for taking that trinket from us and hurting the raid (because i'm not going to equip it while tanking?) i have to sit out for a week.
Now I could have done many things at this point. i could have pointed out that i would use the trinket while tanking and since i'm not a mouth breathing retard, i'll get more use out of it than him. I could have pointed out the reason we only have one 10 man group running and no 25 man group running was the lack of tanks in the guild and forcing one to sit was equivalent to announcing that all raids were cancelled for the week.
Instead I did what I'm famous for on my realm. i wordlessly /gquit the second he #$%^ed me off and threw him on my ignore list Just so you guys know. I've quit probably half a dozen guilds on my realm, I've quit guilds mid raid because of stupid loot distribution. First sign of poor leadership and i leave, I dont believe in supporting stupidity.
So i left, i got a few whispers from my now former guildies saying they saw it coming and they agreed the GL was being a moron. I instantly put myself on the market. As a paladin who is capable of tanking and healing 25 man content, I feel i'm a fairly desirable addition to any raid guild.
However over the course of this last week I've discovered I'm blacklisted from nigh every guild on the realm, as my former guild leader has informed everyone that I "ninja from guildies"
so... any guilds out there need a tank or healer that i can transfer too? :P
First u are healing time time meaning your mains pec is holy not port and therefore that trinket is consider off spec for you. If you go in as port than yes u can roll need for it. I am a druid and mos tof the tiem I am a feral dps but I switch between dps and resto. When I am in resto I don't roll on dps gear and when I am in dps spec I don't roll on resto gear.
People like you should be blacklist. When duel spec comes I bet you are one of those ppl that will roll need on everything regardless of what spec you are currently in.
Prot
IS
his main spec. He simply needed to run AN, but he needed to be a healer.

Years ago before my guild made a split between the hardcore and the just for fun, we had finished one of our earlier downs of Ragnaros.
Lavius, lvl60 Rogue ninja'd the
Perdition's Blade
from another Rogue that had been faithfully coming to each raid and not taking anything else specifically to have DKP lockout.
The /gkick was instant, and at this point, he's taken on a new alias, so... blah.

Let's get this straight, for all you people lacking most of a brain:
1) The guildmaster
BEGGED
him to heal.
2) His
main spec
was prot. (
NOTE THAT HE WAS BEGGED TO HEAL FOR
3-4
INSTANCES, not every heroic from now on
.)
3) He would have respecced into prot with the guild money.
Please note that it was his GUILD, and therefore they had a mindset that his main spec was prot. His guild leader was the stupid one.

LOL guess what I play my durid mostly resto form 70 till till WoLK comes out(been healing a lot for BC raids) . Since I am feral now I should have every right to roll need on helaing gear since hey I play resto the most. Try telling that anyone you ran and see what their reaction is.
If you want something for the spec you play the most then run the instnace in that spec simple as that. I can't wait till duel spec comes out and greedy people like you need on everythig coz you have 2 spec now and you need the gear to support it.
Again people should only roll need of items that benfits thier currently spec. Otherwise druids, shammys, pally, warrior could have roll on pretty much all gear since they they could all say " My main spec is xxx since I play that the most terefore I am going to roll need on that spec as well as the spec I am currently in"
Hmm... He makes a pretty valid point. I've been playing my port pally ever since I saw all the videos of port specced pallies eoa'ing lots of mobs while port specced. I loved levelling in the portection tree, but every once in a while I'd have to respec to be a helaer for a quick run (even though durids are much better helaers, IMO). Sadly, every time an item for a port pally would drop I'd have to pass in favor of helaring gear, damn. Luckily, I've since respecced to Ret so I can just worry about DSP'ing. It's much easier now that I don't need to worry about rolling on port gear OR helaring gear, just DSP gear... Yeah, much easier now that I don't have to use my brain either.
