540 is uncrittable for warriors.

Hi there, good one so far. But my guild mates said the minimum defense cap would be 540 to be uncrittable.
Oh and I'll try to notify the mods to move it to the PvE forum.
EDIT: Bloodbath was faster =P

The stats you have listed for a feral tank druid are a bit high. They're nice, but definitely not the "minimum" I'd say 24-25k hp, 19-20k armor, and 25-27% dodge. Not bad though! keep up the great work!

Good work on most of it, but there's a couple of things I noticed.
-You listed block under avoidance. Block is considered mitigation, not avoidance.
-I don't agree that Deadly Boss Mod and Omen are
required
. They will make it easier, but most players don't
need
the help of such addons. So I think it would be better to label them as
useful
instead.

Death Knight avoidance is a tad high IMO. I got like 36%ish with half epic/blue HC and naxx gear. This is without the blood talent which is pretty much a 10% perm in combat parry.

For the priests, you'll need 2 sections, one for disc, one for holy.
As far as the holy goes, when I started fresh 80, level 75-78 instance boss blues, and I did fine.
My health was ~14k, mana was ~15k, and my bonus heals was ~1400 unbuffed, about 1500 buffed with
Inner Fire
.
my normal heal was roughly 6-7k, and critted for about 10k.
that should help you out with the holy priest part, if you don't already have experience with it.
Edit: As far as druid tanks go, you're setting the bar high on their health. When I started healing for heroics, my druid tanks (I have 3) had roughly 20k, 23k, and 25k. Setting the bar high for them is fine and dandy, but not always possible.

Around 24K HP should be enough for a Bear to start tanking heroics. 27K is already with some fat stamina starting gear. Also concerning Attack Power. Considering that a Bear would have at least one of these three staves before starting tanking heroics, he would have AT LEAST ~3000AP already. With the Stave of Shrouded Mysteries probably ~3500 AP. But 3000 should be a decent minimum AP for a Bear to successfully tank heroic dungeons.
Staff of the Sorrowful Chieftain
- easily attainable from Zul'Drak quest
or
Hewn Sparring Quarterstaff
- normal Halls of Lightning
or
Stave of Shrouded Mysteries
- Revered with the Kirin Tor faction (which is the best pre-heroic dungeon staff available)

DBM is extremely helpful and I would "recommend" having it. But omen is required. The DPS need to know how strong they can push. So they need you to have omen. I know block is mitigation i just lumped it in to avoidance to make things simple.
If someone are struggling against an encounter then I would also recommend DBM. But only if they are struggling, since it's much better if they can do it without the help of such addons.
While I don't agree that Omen is
required
, I do believe it's a great addon which doesn't simplify the game as much as other addons like DBM does. We'll just have to agree to disagree;)

Lowered a lot of stats.. Too much? or about right?
(DK just seems too low)
Also thanks Gagg, ya'll feel free to chime in for the healing classes.
No problem. And I figure I should endorse mods for holy priests, and healers in general. This is my current setup:
Deadly Boss Mods(extremely useful so you know who is getting hit so you can get ready to heal them)
Recount(I use it to keep track of my heals, not entirely useful, but nice to judge yourself from instance to instance)
Omen(keep those dps in line by monitoring who has aggro on skull)
Healbot(not required. I use it cause it makes it easymode for myself while healing. I was a good healer, then with this it saves me time by showing me how much is being healed, what buffs/debuffs they have, and keeping me pretty much centered on the health bars, leaving me as much reaction time as I can have.)

Deadly boss mods showing who's being hit? Hardly. It shows who is getting special boss debuffs and whatnot, but the worst ones already have raid warnings, so you should be fine.

It shows things like during the gun'drak last boss who is getting impaled. I'm happy with it, it helps me enough.
