Every BG has now become DK hell. They need to be nerfed, or there will be nothing left of the other classes.
Problems-
-5k instant, mana free, self/party heals
-45 second immunity to magic cd
-spamable slow/snare
-silence
-Disease DoT effects
-Massive melee damage while being able to spam ranged damage after you build a bit of rune power.
Yes, I play a pally. Yes, I agree with everyone else that DK's are OP as FCK.
If you don't think so, you should try to find another class with the same abilities rolled into one wrapper that everyone and their mom, grandma, and little brother can level to 80 in 2 weeks playing a minimal amount of time.
Solution-
FIX THE DAMN CD'S! chains should not be spamable. 10 second CD minimum, more like 20 second(Yes, I think hunters and mages should be put on the same cd). Immunity should have a 2 minute CD. Deathcoil should have a 6 or 8 second cd. Death Grip should have a 20 yard range. Gargoyle should not be usable in arena. As well as raisen ally.
Those changes would put them in line with the rest of the classes. If you don't think so, go ahead and argue. I say OP. PvP is now flooded with DK's, and they are too easy to play, with way to short of CD's.
Yes, this is QQ, but I'm sick of getting DG'd 50 times per BG, and never being able to kill anything because they are always immune to half of what I throw at them.

Maybe nerf pallys first? Like make your bubble dispellable by more than 1 ability? ;)

How is bubble (12 sec invulnerable if no priest is around, 5 mins cd) more OP than all of spammable/non GCD/short cooldown DK abilities?
Oh...DG can't have 20 yards range, it's basically their taunt/pulling tool in PvE. Anyway, too powerful for PvP. Maybe it should put a debuff on target which prevents it from being gripped again for some time.
Well...I agree they are OP. That slow-spam really sux (takes skill like arcane mage at beginning of wotlk - slow,*ability removing slow*,slow again, slow once more just in case...)
Then Deathstrike...5k self-heal packed with damage. So...if I cast flash heal with priest, does it hurt you for 8k dmg? Probably not.

Rogues are not OP, the mutilate nerf fixed their burst substantially, now the only people dying in 100-0 stunlocks are crap skilled and even worse geared. Yet we dont have even half the mitigation dks do or the amount of health they do or even the armor they do. So yeah, I think its fair rogues can whine about an actual OP class.
That.. can be true. I haven't tried PvP since the new patch.

Did you guys read the changes they did to ret?
When I bubble, I do 50% of my damage. This basically nerfs it to a last ditch effort to get 2k damage out, or heal. If I heal, I'm oom for the rest of the fight.

QQ more? I'm not the one with immunity to stun, with immunity to magic every 45 seconds, and a snare that keeps people from running away from me. If you think JoJ is a snare, you really need to see arena these days. You can't keep moving full speed in any fight.
This is talking from a dual dps standpoint. I haven't played healer/ret yet.
You guys keep saying ret is OP. Maybe I need to find myself a descent healer(that can survive longer than a few seconds in arena) and find out if this is true.
On top of that, if you think ret can go 100%-0% in a HoJ 6 seconds, you obviously have a healer with no HoT's(or no healer). Again, I play dual dps, and there are loads of people that survive the burst from the first HoJ(usually trinketed).
That would require you with under 400 resil, and not wearing plate. This would mean you need to go grind some gear.
arca mage/ret pally VS. Holy pally/DK- The healer has to be a noob, and we have to catch him with a counterspell, or blow him up before he bubbles. If the DK hasn't been stuck in CC the whole time, we die anyways cause the mage is near death. Yes, that's right, bursting a holy pally with a arca mage and a ret pally, and the DK has the mage dead or damn close to it by the time the pally bubbles or dies. And my arca mage partner has over 600 resil.

LOL if I have no trouble taking out lvl 79 dks on my 70 destrolock then I don't see y u can too. Wat? Because u can't mitagate the disease dmg through plate? Or because they death grip u to them so u can hit them a few times.
No more op then bubble, LoH, plate armoured healing 'I can kill u before HoJ wears off' class. Every class has counterclasses. Dks may sound like urs I'm guessing.
World pvp, duels, and the likes aren't the same as 600 resil arena matches with healers.
Locks have a hard time against resto druids, let alone classes that are more duable healing wise.
We'll give you both a holy pally to back you up, and see who loses.

Yes, grinding 60k honor for each piece of deadly offset gear blows when you don't have a pocket healer or 3 to counter the 10 DK's on the other team.
Especially when said abilities are spamable, and spamable in arena as well. Considering they survive as long or longer than a prot warriors while pushing 3k dps.......
Ya, enough said.
You guys cry about Pally lay on hands in bg. That's a 20 minute cd, and our bubble is 5 minutes.
I'm not just talking about BG here, but it's to the point where it's not fun to bg anymore. Even as an "OP ret pally".

I can understand clearly the idea of Death Knights. They are one of the best solo-classes. They excel at magic damage mitigation. Blizzard's failure with this point is on the concept. A caster boss tank is something we never had before, excluding the weak possibility of Spell Reflection.
Now, PvE has been enriched. The idea of Death Knights able to withstand a lot of magical damage, however, is absurd on pvp. 3 classes on the game have -no- other option than to atack with magic - Cloth wearers. 3 other classes can opt to atack with magic - Druids, Shamans and Paladins. Being anti-magic, the Death Knight is able to nullify three classes (no death knight between his cooldown controls, silences and massive melee based damage in his right mind should lose a 1v1 duel against any clothie), and render some specs of the game rather weaker. This trully is what makes them that powerful - they do not counter a class, they counter two ENTIRE roles - Casters, Ofensive and Defensive.
They DO deserve a nerf, indeed. Blizzard, make a simple change, make this super-powerful anti magic techs deep in a tanking tree, and leave the other trees for dpsing. Warriors have an entire tree for tanking and do not complain. This way, they could keep their magical mitigation, but have a much lower damaging capacity if they choose to withstand magical damage.

Uh, I'm leveling a warlock because it will be a challenge. No, I'm not a kid.
Paladin was the first class I rolled, at the start of TBC when paladins rather sucked. I also play a feral druid, and do a fair amount of dps in raid with pretty craptastic gear.
I started playing ret before 3.0, so don't give me that bs.
Chantress fails again. I have a DK, and it sits at 60, because, after jumping on it to check the tree, and bored, powned some quests, got rather bored since after all, you just smash buttons that aren't waiting for a rune to regen, and do a significant amount of damage, not to mention surviving getting jumped by 7 mobs at once(stupid eye), and didn't even have my bone armor up(I did mention I never play it right?).
So, with a paladin having 5 full sets of gear, a druid that I'm working on with 3 sets, and an up and coming warlock..... Well, you get the idea.
I leave the face rolling for the kiddies. This happens to be why I play ret/arca mage, rather than ret/healer in 2v2. You either do it right, or die really quickly. There isn't any facerolling involved.
