better? i know i feel better
ok so yeah this sucks... im sitting here trying again and im ttoally getting my butt kicked, this is ridiclous.. this guide sucks, i quit.......
yeah actually i love you, the advice was great, its like i dont even need mana anymore lol its awesome dude thanks so much, right now im seeing 4 hours of lvling from 70 to 71 so idk if thats good or bad but beats quests for now. lol this guide is awesome
in The Dragon Wastes in Dragonblight. ~9800 HP level 72-73 the respawn is almost instant, some may be tempted to jump into the middle where there are more mobs, but in my exp, waste scavenegers will rock ur socks with their bone toss. From what i can tell they are meant to be killed for quest using a dragon mount.

It looks alot better, you still have some gear to switch but way better than before.
4 hours from 70-71 is a little slow but each to his own. I'd say the average person can do 70-80 in about 30 hours.
Yea you dont wanna try and kill the zombies in the pit. As you said they're meant to be killed for a quest and are extremely annoying if you try and kill them.

i think the worse part about lvling like this is just how much of a drag it can be... doing the same thing over and over, id go as far as to say that im to aware of what im doing and how long its taking me lol where as in quests, time just flies lol

Try coupling the grinding with questing.
Or find something to take your mind off the task at hand.
I usually cant stand more than 30-45 minutes of grinding unless i've got something to keep my mind off the grinding itself.
Music, talking with friends, forum browsing or watching some old simpsons/family guy/futurama episodes are all things that help.

lol yeah i try, i usually grind for a while and do a quick bg, a good run through AV is still 50k exp... and get back to it. thanks for the advice

I know it is a lil underhanded... but if ur having trouble staying alive and need a little boost. jump into a bg... perferablly alterac valley... a lot of the buffs u can get from your fellow horde or alliance will last for an hour, which is more then enough time for u to jump right back in after the 15 minute debuff for leaving the battleground early.

i find it increasingly difficult to group enough undead mobs to even keep my mana up to be honest. these pesky crusaders everywhere fowling up the plan

I guess you're referring to the Argent Stand?
Yea it's quite a half-good location. But i've been busy lately and rarely have even 3 hours of playtime each day so havn't been able to find a new one.
I'll try and find one this weekend but i cant promise anything.

yeah sry i thought i put that in there somewhere lol, its understandable we all have to have lives outside of wow. What i liked about the argent stand was the lack of a stacking buff like the onslaught have. Less likely to die on larger pulls.
I ended up going back to onslaught by naxx for the simple fact that there are more of them in smaller groups, and the pulls are easier to do. I can easily pull 10+ to the 5 i struggle to pull at AS, and there are no gaurds pulling them off of me or fearing them away, and i never have to stop or slow down like at AS.
But let it be known im following the lvl guide very loosly, as soon as im able to go to the last place on ur list. ill be there, but as of lvl 74 they are still red and i miss way to much lol.

i used cobalt, right now im in a cobalt epic and saronite mix sitting at 17k hp with BoS.
Scarlet onslaught are better over by naxx since there are no rangers. Never tried frostmourne cavern i dont think at least ill have to check that out, at Argent stand i was making a lot of money, they drop frostweave and greens like crazy, ive also gotten a damaged necklace and two books of glyph master, and the large amount of greys makes me a good penny.
i went alchemy and herblore for the extra heal and the extra pot effect.
As for SoC or SoV i dont see the point on upping my 1v1 damage. I just throw on SoL so i dont have to worry about my health.

The solution to 99/100 issues with prot tanks. Pull moar mawbs(pronounced like nabs)!
If you're just overhealing yourself with SoL pull more mobs or move on to another location with higher level mobs.
With glyphed HotR you'll only be applying SoV to 4 mobs. That's kinda weak on a 20 mob pull. Using SoL instead you could perhaps pull up to 4-6 more mobs.

what would be better used at lvl 77, crit rating or haste both trinkets give 2k hp when used, i just wasnt sure which would be better now, and which would be be better at lvl 80
when fighting mjordin combatants be on the look out for Hildana Deathstealer, a rare elite with about 19k hp. Though not exaclty a hard elite she seems to hover just out or melee range. i had to jump a use HoR Ex AS and whatever else i could throw at her with a bit of range on it, she meats the requirements for northern exposure.

Crit is always going to be better.
Haste is a very meh stat to prot paladins (and ret as well).
It increases your TPS by an ever so small amount but decreases your survivability, parry-gibbing FTL.

do you guys think theres any poin in aoe grinding anymore with the development of this LFG bs...

The LFD interface doesn't change much.
The AoE cap does though, pretty much nerfed Cons to smitherenes.
It's still viable, but at later levels when you do pulls larger than 10 mobs, it's going to be a little slower.
Ret aura, HS and HotR still do full damage regardless of the amount of mobs.
