*** updated team ***
Demonology Warlock (me)
Protection Warrior
Restoration Shaman
I have no idea if this team will work out in practice. I thought of a team that wins by wearing down and outlasting the enemy, with no obvious target to focus on. The talent trees would look something like this (assuming that this is a correct prediction for 3.1):
Everything about a Restoration Shaman is just spot-on for an outlasting team. With Glyph of Healing Wave and Ancestral Awakening, anti-zerging the Warlock should be rather effective with Prot Warrior support, and this will still heal the Shaman himself as well as another guy. As for Earth Shield with all of the stuff that improves it, I think it's safe to say that it will make for one sturdy Demon Lock.
Prot Warrior, oh where do I begin? Numerous stuns combined with everything that improves Mana Tide and Healing Stream totems, this restoration will add up over time. With all of the stuff that improve Thunder Clap, it'll cost 8 rage and do 390 AoE damage with a very high crit chance. Combine that with its 6 second cooldown and slowing effect plus the bonus from AP and you're set.
The Demon Lock is the one who will obviously be putting out most of the damage in this team. However, this team member is quite survivable for obvious reasons. With a fully improved Felguard assisting the Prot Warr - who isn't as much of a lacklustre damage dealer as may be assumed, especially when compared to Prot Palas - we have some decent DPS backing.
Healing against this team isn't as easy as it may seem due to the fairly large amount of interrupt effects (Earth Shock, Shockwave, Shield Bash, Charge, Revenge, Concussion Blow, Fear, Seduce, Intercept, Spell Lock... did I forget something? although all of these are obviously not available at the same time). Burst DPS is quite easy to break apart, while sustained damage will have trouble breaking through. On paper, I think this sounds like a pretty good team, we'll see how it works out in practice. Anyone else have any suggestions?
Think it could work?

If you're planning to run with that kind of group then the warlock better be able to put out MASSIVE amounts of damage, seeing as the other two in the group aren't capable of dealing considerable amounts of damage.
I would say get the pally to respec ret or get a DK, maybe even a feral druid if you're looking for a pvp class with survivability but with good damage capabilities.
Most other arena teams will have this composition as well (healer+2 damage types) and most will be smart enough to avoid the protection paladin, and seeing how most of a prot pally's damage comes from backlash type spells (Holy Shield, Retribution Aura, etc.) The prot pally will pretty much be useless.
Most teams would end up focusing on your healer or warlock and once one of them falls, its pretty much over, seeing how with the warlock gone, your main source of damage gone, and if you're healer is gone, there's nobody to save the others from being nuked down.
Overall i would just swap out the prot pally for a damage dealing class. I've seen prot/healer teams do relatively well in 2v2 arenas using your tactic of out-surving the enemy, which i've typically seen with a prot pally/ disco priest, though it probably won't work in 3's
But then again you could ignore my advice, this is just from my experience and opinion. It's your rating after all, not mine :P
(sorry for the wall of text, i was feeling chatty :P)

Prot paladins are not very useful, either make it go Ret, or find a prot warrior. Keep in mind with this setup you can expect long games so prepare for the grind. Your druid healer may also have trouble keeping up with the outlast strategy, a paladin healer would be more appropriate.

I Thank you both for your advice.
I took it into account, thought for myself and decided that swapping out the resto druid for a resto shammy and the prot pala for a prot warrior would probably be quite good.

You might as well go FotM and go Rogue/Lock/Shaman if you're thinking like that.

Haunt warlock/ret/resto would be good. Prot will suck. Mainly because most of his dps depends on him getting hit(and it would be kinda dumb for a melee to jump a prot pally....)
Demo isn't great in arena as well. Having UA and insta-howl are big tools to keeping your damage flowing on a lot of targets at once and overloading a healer.
