Wait, Queggy, did you ugh because you read it and didn't like it? Ugh because you think it might be crappy atheist propaganda? or ugh because it's a lot of reading and you're lazy?
Just to let you know: Plato's discussion on justice is neither for nor against religion. It only very briefly mentions religion at all. It's just a discussion on what the definition of Justice is.
Plato's republic has a bunch of stuff in it. Some of it really good, some of it not so much, but all of it interesting. The Justice discussion is one of the good things. Don't ugh until you read it (sorry if you already did but don't think it's good).

You know what? I just started reading that sparknotes summary... not exactly the concise point I was trying to get across. Also, not that great a summary/analysis. I'll try to find the place in the republic that best describes what I'm thinking about.
So, queggy. don't read that thing i told you to read. Read the actual book or if I find something more to the point, read that.

Edit: Ok I read the rest, too bad it slams poetry near the end, I write poetry D:
Yeah, like I said. Some good things, some not so good things.
Queggy,
this
one is better.
Edit: Stupid Sparknotes... That'll teach anyone who wants to cut corners in class.

Maybe Laihendi is tired of talking about trees, firetrucks, platypuses, and colourblind children.
Seems like Laihendi has had plenty of time to get over his geo-firetruck-platypi-colourblindness fatigue.
