So I'm thinking of rolling a twink for the 40-49 bracket. My build would look like this:
BuildI'd be using
Seal of Command, and I'm pretty sure I should be using
Justice to judge.
And so far, gearwise, I did some research and put (IMO) the best pieces into Warcrafter.
Link(Warcrafter wouldn't let me slect the enchantment on
Vice Grips, but I'm thinking "of the Bear" (+12STR, +12STA)
would be best.)
Glyphs would be
Judgement and
Seal of Command for the majors, and either
Blessing of Might or
Lay on Hands for the minor, can't decide which would be better.
I've played a retribution paladin since the beginning, but I'm new to the whole twinking scene. If anyone has criticisms/suggestions I'd be glad to hear them, especially relating to my choices of gear/enchants and talent build.

i'm doing the same thing myself, however, im alliance, and am quite annoyed at some of the gear you guys get to choose from... i.e. that trinket >.<
I'll be using
This spec. it's more crit/damage-oriented, where as yours is more stats/buffs oriented.
for judgements, it varies. justice is great for rogues/druids who like to run away, and ALSO, if you judge a mounted player, they will run at +0% run speed. which means with
PoJ we can easily catch up to them, and wtfpwn them :) but in most other cases, i judge light, and only judge wisdom if i'm low on mana.
Executioner's Cleaver would be a sidegrade to Kang. trading hit and some str for a bleed proc.
SpiderFang Carapace would be a sidegrade to your chest. trading a bit of stam and crit for strength and hit.
Berserker Bracers once you get enough honor/marks.
Earthslag Shoulders would probably outdo yours.
Blackveil Cape would be another sidegrade.
Also, for your belt/boots, i'd suggest the Lamellar gear instead of plate,
Comparison. gain 14 int and 1 strength in place of 7 stamina, ur choice on that.
As for your gloves, they're great, but I've seen quite a few retadins go for the
Hakoo gloves for the agility. personally, im trying to farm ZF for the Vice Grips of the Tiger, which... has yet to drop for me. >.>
last thing i'll say. if you've got a main (which you should assuming you're twinking) run heroics and farm up the badges for the
Shoulders and
Axe which is comparable to both axes mentioned above.

Okay cool, I'll definitely farm the badges for
the shoulders, but I'm not sure about the axe. It's an heirloom, so the best I would be able to enchant it with would be
this.
I know that without enchants, the Reaper beats out Kang due to stats, slower swing speed, and a higher (slightly) top-end damage, but does that outweigh being able to use
this for a quick +70AP?
Edit: also, according to a post in the comments of
Executioner's Cleaver, it's got effectively the same top-end damage as a Kang, so really the only differences between the two are swing speed (Kang is faster by 0.2) and Kang's chance on hit vs. Executioner's hit rating. Doesn't it make more sense to go with the faster weapon (assuming equal top-end damage)? Or does the hit rating outweigh Kang's speed AND it's chance on hit?

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44957It's pretty mandatory. Don't twing if you're not gonna be serious about it.
I'm making a 39 twink with best in slot for all my gear. Only lack one level to equip the last pieces and a few first aid and engineering levels for some fun trinkets and all that.

ok, did a bit of research myself, turns out, executioners cleaver has lower damage (not dps) than kang, so that point is moot. i'll edit my post in turn. as for the heirloom axe, it would do a tiny bit more damage than kang at lvl 49, just checked it on my 48 paly, and it had identical damage. so its pretty much your choice b/w the three, if u want hit, go for the cleaver, if u want a bleed proc, go for kang, if you want stam, str, and crit, go for the reaper.
@ DwarvenLore: Twinking is srs bzns. Troll elsewhere
@ Killerbane: i twinked a few classes at 69, and i do agree, Ret pallys are frikkin unstoppable. i'm pretty sure i saw one wearing nothing but his
Axe and topping the dps charts, rediculous. my poor little aff lock didnt stand a chance :(
