Best Hunter pots/elixirs/flasks?

Ok, so I've got my gems, enchants, and general gear in order. I've got my rotation down pat, and have a generous supply of Saronite Razorheads. When raid buffed, it seems like the last aspect I'm missing to maximize dps are pots/elixirs/flasks.
So my question is...which ones should I be using? I honestly don't know much about the topic in general, other than I think flasks last longer and persist thru death?
Can I drink more than 1 at a time? If there's an AP flask, Agi flask, and Crit flask...can I have all 3 up, no problem?
Just some guidance here would be nice, thanks.

They have different types of elixirs in terms of all this. You have guardian and battle elixirs. You can only have one up of each at a time, so that gives you (obviously) a maximum of two. So far as I know, the best flask that you can get would be the
Flask of Endless Rage
, but the problem with that flask (and indeed, all flasks) is that it counts as both your battle
and
guardian elixirs. On the bright side, it persists through death and lasts two hours, so it's better than chugging constant pots of equivalent stat value.
That being said, just go and grab a few of those, and you should be good to go.
...Just don't forget some stat food while you're at it.

There are 2 kinds of Elixirs, Battle (offensive buff) and Guardian (defensive buff). You can have only one of each going at a time and will disappear if you die. Flasks count as both a Battle and Guardian Elixir at the same time (so you can only use one at a time), but it persists through death.
basically here's how it goes. You can have one flask on at a time. If you're flasked...then you can have no other potion buffs. Potions come in two varieties, guardian and battle. You can have one guardian and one battle potion active at a time.
"What should I use" depends on how you're geared. If you are going to raid and you miss some hit, go for a +HIT potion. If you miss crit/agi.. go for a +45AGI potion... and so on :). Food for hunters works the same way, offering ap, hit, etc... It's just a matter of personal stats/gear what you will be using while playing.

Well so with the flask of endless rage, could I also go and get a potion for agility, crit, and whatever else there is?

I use Elixir of Mighty Agility for my Battle and Elixir of Mighty Thoughts for my guardian. They are currnetly the best combination for DPS over Flask of Endless Rage but the difference is only about 5 DPS. I'll switch to flasks once my guild starts Ulduar as they persist through death. As flatty said though, it depends how you are geared, if you are below the hit cap either a hit elixir or some hit food would be a priority.

I concur, hit does come first. Can't crit what you can't hit, after all. But it's painfully easy (as I've come to find out) to hit the hit cap, so... yeh.

Avoid Mammoth Treats, they're a waste of Northern Spices. Instead, do the Shatt cooking daily for
Kibler's Bits
if you don't already have the recipe. Same exact buff, but uses no Northern Spices and you can farm a stack in 5 minutes. Or find someone who has the recipe for them to cook for you.
Regarding flasks and elixirs, general rule is this: if you're gonna wipe or if it's progression, use
flask
. If you're not gonna wipe, or at least not gonna wipe much, use
these
elixirs
. This assumes hit cap, if not capped then hop on
this
.
On super duper vital ultimate gropression fights where every .1dps counts, use the elixir duo.
Elixir duo is generally about the same price as flasks on my server (meaning 2 each of both elixir = 1 flask), so flasks save money when wiping happens.
