Oh another helpful one is...
you can now ALT-LEFT CLICK an item at a vendor and he/she will sell you a full stack.
Ha how good is that? :-)
Now I feel stupid... Imagine I was an Alchemist since 2005 and I had to buy vials all this time...

Without getting into an argument about whether or not you should put accents into toon's name, what you can do is Shift-click their name with practically any function. Say you want to invite "Mynæme" to your group. Open the console, type "/invite " (put a space), then shift-click their toon's name. The name will be put after the space, then hit the enter key. You can do this with guild invites, /who, whispers, putting on your friends (or ignore) list, whatever, I really haven't found an exception. No worrying about what number pad sequence (or the equivalent on a Mac) to get the accented letter.
Don't forget you can key bind the key to the left of your numeral 1 key, on American keyboards, that's the "`/~" key. I use it for shooting wands, shielding, going stealth, casting Nature's Grasp, whatever needs to be shot off quick or repetitively. With modifiers and a good macro, that easy to hit key can do magical wonders!

Awesome tips, one of my favorite ones to do on all my toons so i dont miss chat is creating new windows for either /w and /p or a window just for /w. Right click the tab on top of the chat window to get to the chat menu. The colors in the combat log can be customized, as well as the font and what kind of things you want to see on your chat window.

One Ive know but a lot of people dont - Shift+RC for Mail - But Alt+RC will place items in the "to auction" window - no more dragging....
But the big one is -
Once a Shammy learns an idol - they dont have to actually carry it with them - they can put it in the bank and it still works....
Sweet Huh...
What idol do you mean ?
The totems he means. You know from the shaman quests? The totems required to cast the totem spells.
The clue is the text on a totem that you can equip - "Counts as an Air, Earth, Fire and Water totem"
I only learned this about 3 months ago myself :/

I roll a mage, and most heroics, I'm one-shot killed if hit.
while in Combat:
I just figured out that if you click on the tanks icon on left,
press the "F" key, it targets who they are targeting...Has saved
my toon about 25 times in 1 week now!
Also, no need for tank to mark anymore!
Not sure everyone knew this...I thought it was cooler than sliced bread.
This will make life even easier for you....
At the start, click on the tank and then type /focus to set him/her as your focus.
Then create this macro:
/target
and map it to an easy to use key.
During a fight with multiple mobs, just keep clicking that and you will automatically be targetting the tank's target.

I've been using left click for a lot of the functions that people seem to have been using right-click for. Nice to see they both work. If you open a trade window, you can just right-click items to add them, as well as alt-click them.
I recently learned that you can't cast misdirection on a mounted player.
You can do /chatwho to see which channels you're in, and /chatwho # to see who's in the numbered channel. Very spammy for general and trade, but good for other channels you've used /join to get to.
Open the console, type "/invite " (put a space), then shift-click their toon's name.
Or just right click their name and select 'invite' from the menu.
