I still don't exactly know where QQing comes from, i know it means that your whining/crying but why the two Q's. took me a while just to understand that it meant crying now i wanna know why! lol
I believe it is because the QQ looks like eyes with tears coming from them. At least, that's whar I understood of it.
I learned that SW castle had a basement after years of playing. Nothing that exciting.

I never knew that alt+f4 logs you out untill someone told me about it...
Actually this command closes the currently selected Windows program. But I've found it has a few other uses as well.
It's the only way to log off or exit the game while in combat
It makes your character appear to have disconnected rather than logged off
The second point is where it gets interesting.
If you're in a party, use alt+f4 to exit WoW, then log back in, so long as the members of the party haven't kicked you you'll automatically rejoin them (I believe a recent patch has further implemented this, probably making it less significant).
Another trick is, while in a party with less than five people, you can alt+f4 out of WoW, log back in on a different character on the same realm, and have them invited into the same party. I used to use this trick to run a group up to a dungeon boss with an 80, switch to an alt, then have the alt help them take down the boss so as to be able to roll on the loot. (obviously this probably doesn't work anymore)

If your warlock is raiding, running an imp, and unaware of phase shifting, get another warlock.
Most of the ones I use with any regularity have already been covered, but here's one: If you need to know who's online in a particular guild, a simple '/who NameOfGuild' should bring up their list. Useful if your friends list is full already. /who is actually a fair bit more versatile and that and will sort by zone, level range, etc if you ask it to.

You can "Shift-Click" a player's name in any chat channel to learn their Class, level, location and guild.
Also learned you can set a little note next to any players on your friend list. Helps a lot when you just add people just to find out 4 months from now that they remember you but you don't remember them...

My favorite recent discovery:
Hit the Num Lock key and your char starts running without holding down any movement keys. You can turn with the A and D keys, left/right arrow or right mouse button. Pressing Num Lock, W, S, up/down arrow cancels auto run.
Ya, no more carpal tunnel from running halfway across Kalimdor!

Shift-clicking someones name in chat while writing will paste their names in the chat. very useful for names like Sÿpêrlóckên or containing any other letter your keyboard doesnt have.
Some new, some old, but damn useful! ^^

QQ also has another meaning...
In another hugely popular game by blizzard, Starcraft...
...If you got beaten, a common tactic was to quit the game ASAP.
This was done by hitting Alt-Q and then Q again when the "Are you sure window" popped up.
Hence...the QQ when you lost.

Same as Warcraft 3.
