Idle in Party
In Combat
I'm still trying to figure out how to hide the progress bar of a cooldown on forte to make it keep the same opacity even if I have spells on CD.

You could use CoolLine, pretty much the same but removes the progressbar.

A more updated version of my interface. Feed back appreciated.
Too many buttons; OPie, keybind, fade-out.

My current UI
So I decided to at last get in on this making my own UI game. So far I'm reasonably happy with it for my first attempt. Currently looking for some sort of addon to customise the tooltip or at least move it around (and a bigger monitor but I can't download them).

TipTac, for your tooltip.
Hide bagbar/micromenu.
You cant be in need of all those buttons each sesson.
Titanpanel is waste of space, and ugly. Use SLDataText instead, more flexible and still provides the same information.

Thank you, just wondering by micromenu you mean the one with shortcuts the the character pane ect?
With regards to the buttons I'm thinking of shifting more of them onto the actionbar to the right and then having that just showup on mouseover. I tend to have this utterly insane need to have everything on a button just because I
might
need it (but never will).

There is absolutely nothing wrong with TitanPanel and people really need to stop being so snobbish about it. Just make the bar transparent and you're good to go.

Played with my UI a bit more yesterday, decided to make the background on my unit frames white so no matter what color the terrain you'll always be able to clearly see them. Also played around a bit with Kgpanels.

My UI: Take 2
Pretty happy with it now, Titanpanel has never done me wrong yet and I like it's looks so I'm sticking with it for now. Just need to find a chat addon (or the option to hide the buttons with the default frame.)
Also ignore the lolrp, I know I try to.

With your opacity, TitanPanel actually isn't bad.
Also, for your chat you should try out
LowMemoryChat
if you just want a light-weight addon to hide the buttons, or
Prat
if you want a ton of chat customization.
As for the rest of your UI, having your grid showing while solo is pretty redundant; you might wanna set solo mode to hidden. also, the two bars above your player frame are uneven, making those even would make your unit frames look alot cleaner. Other than that it looks pretty good. Although my personal preference would be to lose the white gradient, but then again these are just my thoughts.

New UI
Similar to old one but more simplified and streamlined. Debuffs are added from an Anub screenshot to show where they go. Buff Frame below my player frame is flittered to show only relevant buffs, as a majority of buffs are not things you need to monitor mid-combat.

What could i add/remove currently im just leveling. This is my druid
Here It is.
Start with a better Bartender layout. I know that you probably have a very specific reason for that particular arrangement, and I've made some wonky button layouts myself, but they're always balanced and symmetrical, which always looks better.
If you don't want to use ButtonFacade (which I don't), I've found that adding a little padding and spacing to the buttons can go a long way. Pull them apart a little but so that the buttons aren't all mashed together. It looks better and is easier to use.
Other then that, there's not really much to work on. Maybe hide the micromenu, and as mentioned, get a different minimap (or just hide the SexyMap border). I like BasicMinimap.
And balance your Unit Frames. Xperl isn't my favorite choice, but it will at least look a little better if you align them.
