Hey, i went and tried to change my ui, any advice on how to fix it would be nice (please don't suggest any addons because the addons i have are required for my guild).

What do you mean fix? What is it that you want to do with your UI?

I'm sorry, but that's quite a jumble...
Try getting rid of most of the junk around your mini-map, and clean up your action bars (there are 4 buttons below the main bars that are quite random). And could you also try aligning your unit frames, a screen with your ToT would be handy to see where everything fits.

try making the background of your grid transparent, personally, i prefer it that way. you may not, but just go find out :)
Ehm, it's not Grid by the way but Pitbull.
Can you give me an idea of just about everything that you used for your action bars? I'm assuming Bartender4 and buttonfacade, but im pretty new to editing UI's. I really like your action bar set up at the bottom and i would like to emulate something like it for my hunter.
Sorry for my late repaly. You're right, it's Bartender4 with ButtonFacade (Apathy). This Image shows how the bar-setup is:

It's not a complex sheme... just align the bars in the bottom. For the panels I used kgPanels which is a nice addon :)

Sexy. I recommend using a regular buff display method, though. To each his own, I just don't like the large bars.

Blinky could you tell me how you set up your panels to look like that? Mine are rather horrid looking and I'd love to setup my chat so it looks like yours but I'm not sure how. Any help would be most appreciated.
Standard UI
Basically, what I'm trying to do is make my UI more compressed and "slimmer" so it takes up less of my screen. Ya know?
Edit:
Also, Blinky, I was wondering how you did the mirror form panels. I've been trying to figure it out using eePanels2 and am having no luck.

I was deciding whether to use Buffalo or ElkBB, but I personally prefer to see the names of my buffs/debuffs instead of wondering what one of the icons is for. But different people have different tastes...

I am currently using eePanels (not eePanels 2, which is a fan update...kgPanels is the real update for eePanels), simply because I haven't yet been bothered to update them to kgPanels. Most of them are a simple gradient, and I had to manually synchronise the height/width of each mirrored panel (quite time consuming, but there was no other way).
Just sit down and spend some time getting all your panels where you want them, or if you want my UI you can download it from WoWInterface.com once the admins verify the upload has no viruses... -.-
Edit:
Also, updates again:
Blinky UI 1.2
Blinky UI 1.2 - Raid

You know, those buff bars actually look quite good in that Karazhan screenshot; they mesh well, in a sort of symmetrical way with the raid bars.

This
is the current update on my UI. Its getting closer to how I want it but I feel I could make it more streamlined. Any ideas?

is the current update on my UI. Its getting closer to how I want it but I feel I could make it more streamlined. Any ideas?
1. Customise Unit Frames - your ag_unitframes currently look almost in a default configuration, including your buffs which are pointless when you have ElkBB.
2. Panel Gradient - they are both identical panels in terms of gradient direction, if you are trying to make a centralised UI then flip one around.
3. Remove Mini-map Junk - get rid of the buttons or put them in fuBar, and get simpleMinimap so that you can put your co-ords inside the map.
4. Bar Alignment - all of your action bars and unit frames are
almost
aligned symmetrically, so just take a bit of time to get them perfect (comparing the X,Y positions of each bar can help immensely)
5. Remove Menu Bar - by now you should know the hotkeys for each of these functions, and removing the bar will also allow you to move your quest tracker closer to the side of your screen.
6. ElkBuffBars - they are
very
small, you may want to make them a little wider so that you can see the names of your buffs (but if size is an issue, you may want to use Buffalo or the buff icons provided by Pitbull).
7. Clean FuBar - lots of plugins for UI customisation addons up there, which aren't really needed once you've finished messing with your UI (eg. eePanels, ElkBB, ag_unitframes...etc.)
If you want an example, I've spent a few days cleaning
My UI
...it is a similar design, so hopefully it helps you finish yours ;)
