It's incredibly aggravating to have a debate with someone who speaks in the third person. :P
This comes back to an age old question: If you cheat on your wife, and she never finds out—let's even go so far as to say it never affects her in any way—is it still wrong?

That is a question of what is morally right and wrong, not a question of if it happened or if it didn't.

Yes it is. It's also me trying to drag the subject back on topic.

Laihendi thinks it is wrong, but there are many who see nothing wrong with a husband having a wife, along with... mistresses.

As long as a sloth lives on, there will always be need for moral code.

I'm among them, provided that it's a mutual agreement between all three and nothing is being hidden. Both of these are besides the point, though.
If I may ask: Why do you feel it is wrong?

Laihendi is saying that if something happens that your senses cannot perceive, and that the impacts cannot be detected by any senses you posses, someone would say that it exists, while others (like you did) would say it does not.
I understand you're saying... but just because they don't know what effect its having doesn't mean its not, they just don't know the facts yet. So in that sense, they're just wrong period.
But yeah... I'd say you cheating on your wife is wrong, because I doubt you'd consider it fair if she did the reverse without your knowledge.

No.. you don't understand what Laihendi is saying. Go back, read it again. Laihendi is getting tired of typing it out over and over again.

Why do you need a God to have morals? Why do you need religion to have morals? I find this debate idiotic, both religious and nonreligious people have done a multitude of moral and immoral things.
I still don't understand why people always directly link God to being a decent human being.
Same reasons they always directly link Muslims and suicide bombers.

If you say it and he doesn't get it, then either he's not following you or you're a poor communicator. If the latter, try again in a different way. If the former, give up. Either way. don't be a jerk.

Its like trying to solve a puzzle... what message is he trying to get across? Who knows? Take a guess!

No one is trying to argue that you have to believe in God to have morals. What we're proposing is that morals
come
from God, whether you give him credit for them or not. :)

It is not a problem with Laihendi's communication, he said it as plain as possible. And Mediator has said
incredibly
offensive things to Laihendi in the past...

Which makes it perfectly moral to hit back, right? :)

What happened in this thread is comparable to Laihendi lightly slapping him across the face, after being impaled by him with a wooden spoon a couple months earlier.
But Laihendi gets it, he'll try to not be immature about it.

while others (like you did) would say it does not.
Why would someone say that it did not exist? I highly doubt most people believe that have percived all there is too the universe.
