Paladins can Heal, Tank, Melee DPS, and even Ranged DPS if they know what they're doing.
Warriors can only Tank and Melee DPS.
Paladins are the best single-target healers in-game currently.
Warriors can't heal at all.
Protection Paladins have far better AoE Threat than Protection Warriors.
Protection Paladins also have a wider variety of Oh-!@#$ Buttons.
Retribution Paladins have equal to, or better DPS than all but the most highly geared Arms & Fury Warriors, especially Arms.
Even then, it's only roughly equal.
Paladins have more group utility than Warriors.
Paladins have an Attack Power buff, a MP5 Buff, a +10% Stats buff, a -3% Damage Taken & +10% Stamina/Strength & Mana regain per block/dodge/parry buff. Paladins also have multiple 'Hands', that allow us to:
A: Redirect damage taken from a friendly target.
B: Lower a friendly targets threat.
C: Make a friendly target immune to physical damage.
D: Make a friendly target immune to snares, roots, and movement impairing effects. Additionally removes stuns on the target.
Alongside another ability to redirect damage taken from multiple friendly targets, and sacrifice ourselves to save another friendly target. Not to mention a Shield Ability that absorbs 500 (600 Talented) damage per 6 seconds.
Additionally, all Paladins have Judgement debuffs, allowing themselves & allies to regain Health or Mana on a melee swing.
Retribution Paladins also have an Attack Power debuff, and a Replenishment Effect.
Protection Paladins also have a -20% Attack Speed debuff
Warriors, meanwhile, have an Attack Buff that is shorter and slightly weaker than it's Paladin counter part. Warriors also have a +Health buff, a +5% crit buff, an Attack Power debuff equal to Retributions, and an 20% Reduced Armor debuff.
Paladins have greater PvP survivability than Warriors. Any Paladin with half a brain actually has 3 lives. Divine Shield & Heal, and Lay On Hands.
A Protection Paladin has 3.33 lives, as Ardent Defender comes into play.
Warriors only have Thirst for Blood to heal themselves.
Warriors may have a Charge ability, but Paladins do not need a Charge, as we have Avenger's Shield, a ranged, multi-target damaging & movement-impairing spell that also
silences each target!
