When a Hunter doesnt name his pet. It really fcking irks me. Hunters have a deep bond with their pet, no matter what spec, and to see some just treat them as tools annoys me.

There is one thing that keeps going on my nerves on our realm. I'm on EU-Rajaxx and raiding here with randoms is quite awful. An example:
I was on my mage and wanted to do the weekly, this time it was Ignis, the furnacemaster. Well, should be no problem, oh boy how wrong i was.
It took forever to fill the group but finally we where complete. The problems started when we entered Ulduar and someone spoke to the wrong guy, means someone acitvated the hardmode. Well, no big deal, i thought, take a little detour and thrash those towers, but no one acutally had any intensions of doing so. I wrote in raid chat about this, but no one seems to care and guess what happend? Right, we wiped miserably at Leviathan.
Next try, this time the hardmode was not activated and we could finally try the boss. Took forever because some people didn't understand the use of the pyrit. The result was eight of ten people died and the rest could fortunately defeat the boss.
Next step, the way to Ignis. Remember those two magma dudes blocking the way? They like to stun people with their earthquakes and shooting pyroblasts at the group.
The pyroblast gives you a nice little dot that ticks with 3k damage, should be no problem for the healers. But earthquake + 3k dot equals what? Excactly, death! So our tanks pulled the mobs, shortly after that i was hit by a pyroblast, earthquake came, i was almost dead, couldn't hit my ice block and died. Rest of the group died shortly after that.
Well, next try wasn't better, we wiped because one tank decided not to tank and let the magma dude onehit people. So what happend next? Right, raid disbanded, i had nothing but repair costs and a wasted id. This is not a one time exception, sadly this is quite normal on this realm. Icc groups whiping at the trash before Marrowgar, TotC groups can't get past Northend Beasts and a lot of other things i don't want to mention.
Sorry for this wall of text but I'm sure this sounds familiar to you.

When people in ToC get hit by Icehowl EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Seriously, I often keyboard turn in raids (-GASP-), and I have never once been hit by Icehowl. Or am I missing something, it seems obscenely easy to me.

The fact that blizzard caved to the whiners and now the hybrids can tank as well as warriors, dps as well as rogues and heal as well as priests.
This has nothing to do with whiners. If the hybrids could not compete with the warriors, rogues, priests, etc, then there would NEVER be a reason to take them. Being a hybrid and saying "I can tank...sorta...and heal...well, sorta...and dps...sorta..." does absolutely nothing for a raid. You would bring all pures to get the best out of the group. When you need an off-tank, you do not take a tank that can "sorta" do it. You do not bring a healer that can "sorta" heal. And your not going to want a dps that can only "sorta" dps. The fact you can do all three doesn't mean anything since your only doing one, two tops, at the same time anyway, and any pure class would perform better anyway.
I think this is my #1 pet peeve for WoW. People that %^&*! and have no clue what they are talking about.
