To gank, or not to gank...

WoW is down, the forums are down, and i'm bored out of my mind.
So!
What is everyone's opinion on ganking? Whether it be low lvls or camping other 80s, how does everyone feel about it? Do you get a kick out of knowing that the lvl 75 you are camping is probably facerolling his keyboard? Or that the lvl 80 had to bring 2 other lvl 80s to take you down?
Do you HATE WITH THE PASSION OF A 1,000 BURNING SUN when people gank? Do you play on a pvp server and never engage in world pvp?
Me, personally, I love ganking. Borean Tundra is my favorite spot. There's 80s and 70s everywhere. I kick my feet and giggle when the mage i've been camping comes to kill me on her 80 DK! I could never go to a PVE server. My boyfriend and I regularly tear up Northrend in a couple places. If i'm lvling my alt in azeroth and get ganked by an 80, I do bring my 80 to kill him and any other poor alliance I happen across.
What about everyone else?

I always thought of it as "They ganked me when I was lv 10, now that I'm lv 70, I gank their level 10's, and so the Cycle repeats".

I gank when i see someone that isnt max level with full greens ganking or acting tough to my faction. (I.E. annihilating Sentinel Hill)
When I get ganked on an alt, i try to get on my main and go there as fast as possible and gank him back.
I then /dance on his corpse. Or maybe stick that stormwind banner in his torso.

I don't mind being ganked every now and then, but relentless constant ganking (I coulda said camping ...) !@#$ES me off. It's just like, ok you've had your fun, are you going to move on now?

i agree totally. Getting ganked is one thing. Corpse camping so long that i now have 2.5 lvls of rested exp is another thing entirely.

ganking on pvp is what you should expect ill do it every now and then but rarely kill low levels no real sport in 1 hit kills unless im running with a buddy around other factions level then will kill him just so my buddy gets some free honor points i will not camp unless you had camped my alt or buddy then i will make a fire on your body and camp you i consider camping is sitting there and killing me three or more times kill me once wait for me to come back then kill me again ok wit me but three times is too much lol....and most i will camp a camper is three times cause i have better things to do ..

I don't really participate on ganking with my main (Unless it's for revenge), but on any of my lowbies, i'm a lot more likely to follow the 'Red is dead' idea.
Camping isn't cool though, except when you're camping an idiot who, despite being at half hp and getting camped, will rez and start whacking you. Yeah, no... die again.
I don't chase down people who rez and run though, it's just not very sporting.

I had a blast corpse camping some horde players in Silvermoon when I went to get their flame for this year's seasonal event. I ended up dancing with some low levels toons until the 80s ressed and offered themselves as sacrifices to me again and again... eventually, about 6 80s showed up and I bubble hearthed, but it was fun.
Ganking = win

I rolled on PvE to minimize the amount of ganking I must deal with in game play. So this answers your question obliquely.
Having two flagged level 50 jump in front of my fishing line when I'm on my 30 alt to trick me into flagging is just childish. I just lose the fish, recast and /1 to let people know there is someone who wants to play. There are enough people who enjoy occasional PvP on a PvE server to give them game.
Running in and stealing a Midsummer fire from the opposite faction is a choice to leave myself open to being attacked and ganked by other players. I'm ok with that since I know what I'm getting into, its annoying but part of the options in play. If anyone attacks me while I'm flagged in the cities I usually just 'x' to sit and get it over with quickly. As a player I recognize I do not have the fast reactions and skill to PvP. I show my respect by using

on the aggressive person, I'm just in there for the achievement.

My server is pvp and whenever I see an ally around an area and im doing a quest I'll just wait and see if they attack me, and if so I'll attack back. I see it as a waste of time to have a hostile mentality towards every hostile player you see, because if you indeed do kill them then once they rez they will seek every cheap opportunity to get you back no matter the circumstances. It's not worth my time to have a mini-war with someone else just because they are playing a supposed "enemy".
And as for ganking...I will sometimes venture into hillsbrad and gank some lowbies, but thats about it
