Apart from dishonour points being quite hard to make work properly (lowbie runs through your AoE on purpose, get killed, you get dishonour; how fair is that?), the very ability to do incredibly selfish, immature and unbalanced things is important to PvP servers. If you cannot behave badly, there is no behaving well either. If there is no way to destroy kids' sand castles on the beach, there is no way to be a good guy either.

A PvP server gives you the
opportunity
to attack players of the opposing faction a lot more often than regular servers. You yourself still choose whether or not to.
Still, I have no problem with that. It's the people who set out to purposely inconvenience others I don't understand.

Wth is wrong with you people :O ganking is hell of a FUN! Especially camping people 10+ levels lower than you for 2 hours..you can just feel their pain and feed on their tears..its even more fun if you're a rogue, just spec shadowstep, stay in stealth and when he gets his corpse back.. BAM SHADOWSTEP AMBUSH DIE NUB.
I just kill everything i can. It's a pvp realm, you should expect to die and be camped every now and so, i've been trough it too, and now i understand them...its priceless..

Somehow i fail to see the fun in that. Do you torture your guinea pig?

I got ganked on my 40 by a 50.. 15 times in a row. I loged my DK who I had put less than 10 feet away and 1 shot him. and procceded to 1 shot him for 4 hours even when he loged on his 80 I still camped him. I later got a tell from a GM asking me to stop I told him what happened and I never heard a word from the GM again.

Quoting 2½Men: "As always, you're entitled to your stupid opinion." :p
But seriously: while you may or or may not be right about 'this' being war (actually, it's a game, and I'm not entirely sure there isn't a fragile peace at the moment; if not, Theramore and its quests are rather odd), it is also a game where both sides talk a whole lot about honour. The ones we see as heroes rate honour higher than victory, higher than anything. Human knights and orcish grunts alike march to their deaths without hesitation, with patriotism and personal honour being their prime motivations.
Would you kill a kid of the other faction? You can't, but would you?
Should
you?
How different is the relationship between, on the one hand, four or five level 80s camping a flight master and nearby graveyard, and on the other hand solo players of the other side in their low 30s?
I find it interesting that you think that griefing the other faction i somehow your duty. Plenty of interesting examples of that in history...

I feel sorry for the low levels.
Hintersland Azoroth:
This one time when I was farming for the mageweave cloth at late lvl 70ish to level my tailoring. Moments later I went AFK to have a smoke, and this blood elf paladin out of no where (lvl 45) came to the same spot and started hitting me for no reason. I did send a /apology to him but he wouldnt listen. I 2 shotted him and then sat beside his corpse. 1 minute later he was /apologying me.
HFP towers in Outland:
There is a quest that you do where you must capture all three towers and have you pvp tag on. There is one tower which is always hard to flag. In the bone chewer domain across the bridge from honor hold. I reached there and this blood elf pally was flying arround it. I killed him and took the tower. Moments later he came back with 2 death knights...You can figure out what happened to me next. ( I am a mage by the way)
Scholzar basin in Northrend:
While I was questing. This druid moonkin out of no where appeared and kill me, I ran to my corpse and the druid flew away. 5 minutes later, the same druid killed me and flew away. another 5 minutes the same druid came and I killed him then finally realized from the general chat of scholzar that my pvp tag was on..
I can only imagine it'll make one almost quit the game so I never ganked. But sounds fun.
