funniest would be a druid, teabag everyone that stood in the fire
funnest would be the druid or warrior, warlock would be up there if i had one before the "fun nerf" to RoD

Aff lock
Fighting 8 mobs and a player who tried to gank you at the same time, kill them all and end with 90% health and 100% mana is definitely fun.
Yesterday i was farming shoveltusk flanks in howling fjord and while dotting a herd of them a lvl 75 druid thought this might be a good chance to gank a lvl 80...what he failed to take into account was the fact that a aff lock will get MORE passive healing from low lvl mobs than what they do on dmg, so this is one of the worst situations to try and gank.

Ahh my fav class has to be a rouge even though my main characters are mage and pally rouges are just easy to play and are like ninjas which is great compared to the game tenchu :)
Whats a Rouge? I've been having more fun on my Death Knight lately than my Hunter, Paladin, Rogue, and Warrior lately

Prot paladin, prot warrior, affliction lock. (in pvp)
The first two for similar reasons and the last one just cuz putting full dots on someone that can't dispel or heal and then just run away is way too funny lol.... or dot, fear and /sleep hahaha
Prot warrior cuz i just took two rogues that were raping everyone 2v1 outside of org on the ptr yesterday (hilarious, they were prolly all mad)
prot pally cuz you can turtle and have 20 min duels with priests and warlocks (only when they teleport to the top of that stupid hill all cheaplike to save their lives lol)
Well they can be cheaplike
when
teleporting somewhere, but PvPing prot pala is cheaplike always :)

I like my paladin the best (I've played it since vanilla, so no FoTM crap), I like my sissy frost DK, and yes I do actually know how to play a DK.
I love my warrior, although he isn't very high (only 20), and I like my elemental shaman. Oh and did I mention my warlock (demonology)?
I like most classes, but here is my list #1 is my favorite in descending order (wow I think I murdered that sentence).
Paladin
DK
Warlock
Warrior
Hunter
Shaman

Really depends on what you want to do.
On live servers I have a Druid, DK and Shaman at 80.
I've played Priest, Mage, Warlock and Paladin quite a bit on the PTR.
I also know a few people IRL who play WoW and have high level Priests as mains and they let me play them occasionally.
So generally I think I have a very good overview of several classes and their capabilities at max level.
What's most important for me is mobility. I hated travel times when leveling and this utter hate for slow walking really never disappeared. I hate having to crawl through raids, especially with all the movement required these days.
That's why I love my Druid the most. Both for dps and for healing there is just no more mobile class. Casting HoTs on the move is just awesome, healing on my Shaman in comparison is just annoying. I just feel so slow and clumsy on him.
Same for melee dps ... it's awesome on the Druid. Feral Charge, Dash and the passive 30% movement speed make cats jump around in raids like no other class/spec. Melee is generally a bit annoying since you have to be near the boss all the time but it really is awesome fun as cat.
Playing my Shaman on the other hand is getting a bit frustrating. He also has a kind of Dash (Spirit Walk when wolves are active) but I really miss the passive 30% speed. That being said the Shaman still is great fun. Providing awesome and unique raid buffs is great and I enjoy the whole dual wield style which is way cooler on Shamans than on DKs.
Same on my DK but it's not that bad there because of Improved Unholy Presence (which I have specced into just for the 15% movement speed).
For tanking this doesn't really matter too much since the boss is following you and not the other way around ;) Tanking is fun both no my Druid and DK and I guess I wouldn't mind having a Paladin or Warrior either. Any tanking class is fun.
I haven't really found a range dps class that I like. Moonkins look totally ugly, I really hate those fat chickens. I've raided a bit on my Shaman as elemental but I don't like it either - no mobility, slow walking and every movement severely hurts dps due to lack of instant spells.
I kind of liked the lvl 80 Warlock on the PTR and I have a lvl 42 Warlock which I'm leveling now and he is fun to play. DoTs are nice and are more fun than elemental Shaman dps. The Warlock teleport is also useful though I prefer a Mages blink. The Mage on the other hand lacks good abilities to use on the move.
I haven't tried a Hunter yet and I don't know anyone IRL with a lvl 80 Hunter so I can't really test it. I think that this would be my favorite class for ranged dps due to all those nice instant (castable on the move!) attacks and the fact that movement won't reset the attack timer if you do it right.
Long story short:
Favorite class: Druids. They are awesome. My favorite for healing, melee dps and fine for tanking.
Second choice: Shamans. Like the style, not so much the healing but enhancement is fun despite being slow.
Third choice: Any tank really. Tanking is fun.
Honorary mention: I guess Hunters will be my favorite for dps once I get my hands on one.

I love my hunter. It's only level 52, and I don't have any other characters, but I love it. We have an aspect for many different situations, we can pick off any runners instantly (which is especially helpful in a place like BRD), and the pet is like a 6th group member.
I have played a mage up to 30 and I liked it because of all of the utility spells like the teleporting, blink, evocation, conjure food and water, slow fall, etc.

I've checked it out so you can stop spamming with funniest is and funnest is bla bla..
Looked it up on all different sites and book and teachers, everyone says that there's NOTHING that is called Funnest but something that called Funniest..I think just becouse one started saying that another continued it! Group pressure lol? ^^ Wow, great job on that necro BTW.
The correct term is "most fun". You are right that "funnest" isn't a word. But when I saw the topic of the thread I was looking for lol's about classes, not which class people think are the most fun to play or "funnest" to play.
Even if "funnest" isn't grammatically correct, people still use it in conversation, which is what this forum is. A bunch of conversations. So using funnest would better convey your message than funniest.
But let it be known, most fun is the best phrasing.

Did someone already mention Clown College? That class was sure funny.
I also hear rogues are really fun to level. Playing one at 80 is certainly lots of fun.
