Hard to tell, if I had to guess its just more evidence that he doesn't know how to play a mage. Any of his recent posts addressing mages have been utterly clueless.

Uh ... arcane wasn't hard before the 3.2.2 change hit. It's still the same 2 spells in the rotation, just 1 extra AB during normal, and more AB spam uptime. Not that different.

with the game getting more simplified for your more casual gamer (LAME)
Two things wrong with this statement.
1. It's still not casual-friendly.
2. Casual =/= non-skilled. If I had to make a choice between seeing a good casual player get rewarded, and seeing a horrible "non-casual" player get rewarded, I think I know what my choice would be.
i'm glad i'm not the one who had to make this point.
working full time and going to school full time doesn't allow me much time for the "dedicated player" status i held over the summer, but that doesn't make me any worse of a player than I was two months ago.

I dislike the whole casual vs. professional argument.
It's made of 100% pure grade A stupid.
Anyone who says casual gamers are bad is most likely under the age of 14, and has all day to play games. Anyone who thinks wow is more then a game deserves to be banned, because they are clearly addicted and need some serious help.
I will seriously never understand the argument "I waste my entire life on this game, and I earn as much as casual gamers, and this is bad." Doesn't that just mean the professional is really bad? and has no life?
You have to be careful with this line of argument though, because it might imply that anyone who's hardcore is a 14 year old kid, or someone with no life.
Anyone can be hardcore, even someone with a paying job. The difference is how you prioritize things. For instance, I could spend more time in WoW than I already do, but I choose not to. I chose to spend it on other means of entertaining myself, like hanging out, or reading, or watching movies. I doesn't really make me better, or worse than the hard cores, only different. People need to realize this more. :)
