1. Desolace - Levelled there with a friend. Nearly killed him by the time the thing was FINALLY done.
2. Barrens - Running from one end to the other at low levels is basically a deathmarch.
3. Terrokar Forest - That greyish green color scheme was SOOO BORING to stare at for hours on end.
4. Hellfire Peninsula - Fel Reavers. I go back at least once a week for revenge.
5. Dragonblight - It feels like it NEVER ENDS.

5. Storm Peaks - Couldn't tell you why. I did the Hodir grind, but the whole place just bugged me.
4. Silithus - Bugs. Ew.
3. Blade's Edge Mtns - Uniformly the color of bile. Also, if you die, the run makes the Barrens feel small.
2. The Barrens - Running from end to end (pre-20 mounts) reminds me of dying in BEM.
1. Azshara - In the name of all that's good, Blizzard,
what were you thinking?
Hard to get around, kind of dreary, hard to get around, bad terrain makes it hard to get around, and cliffs make it hard to get around. No. Bad Blizzard, no pony.

Tanaris. The middle 9/10ths serves no purpose except to seperate the important bits around the edge.
Alterac Mountains. A zone with no quest hubs, comprising mainly of a crater, and yet we fight over it tooth and nail.
Azshara. Cliffs are bad m'kay?
Netherstorm. monochrome, but in purple.
Desolace. Its so dreary.

Obviously not a "top 5" but I hate all the areas that make me want to go to sleep (the overly rugged, the dull/desolate). I like the areas that keep me constantly looking around at the environment.

1. Desolace - so dreary and boring.
2. Badlands - never liked it there, the quests always seem to take you somewhere else
3. Silithus - again, dreary and boring, but it's a little better than Desolace IMO
4. Stonetalon Mountains - The zone looks nice and everything, but I don't like the quests there, you'll have too many that take you to the other side of the zone from where you picked it up.
5. Swamp of Sorrows - although it looks cool, it has a serious lack of quests.

1. Hellfire peninsula: so monotonous, so orange! No counting the fel reaver and the boars with an aggro range of 2 inches...
2. Stonetalon mountains: why is the FP so far from everything? and the charred vale...*shivers*
3. Netherstorm: ok, maybe I'm geometrically impaired but can I has a flat ground?
4. Desolace: the name says it all...
5. WPL: no FP? but whyyyy?

All of the votes for Stranglethorn Vale should be rejected if you people can't give a reason for hating it other than complaining that you get ganked there a lot.
PvP happens on PvP servers. It's what you signed up for. Just because all of the a--holes hang out in one spot is no reason to hate
the zone
.

With flying mounts available at 70 no area in Outlands or Northrend is that bad.
My votes go to:
Desolace - a Friday afternoon zone if ever there was one.
Ashenvale - too many trees and that run to Zoram'gar...
Western Plaguelands - not enough flight paths
Eastern Plaguelands - ditto
Aszhara- Another Friday zone with no mail box and no quests.
