#showtooltip
/castsequence Seal of Command, Seal of Corruption
I prefer something like....
#showtooltip
/cast Seal of Corruption; Seal of Command

Is there a way to make a /cancelaura Divine Sacrifice macro (one to just get the effect of DG) with a modifier to
not
cancel it? Would make it easier to bubble and cast DS in five mans.

I'm not totally sure what you're trying to do. You want to cast Divine Sacrifice (and thus activate Divine Guardian), but then you want to cancel DS, leaving DG up? Am I getting it right?

Correct! But I want to add a modifier key that will allow me to not cancel Divine Sacrifice if I decide I want to keep it up.

#showtooltip
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/castsequence reset=3 Divine Sacrifice; Divine Sacrifice, Divine Protection
/cancelaura Divine Sacrifice
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/run UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
That's the best I can do without being ingame to test anything. Hitting it twice will DS/DP like normal; holding shift and then spamming will cast DS and cancel it.

Why are the sound effect lines necessary?
Anyway that whole thing makes my head spin.

Because for /cancelaura to work you need to spam the thing. If you can deal with the "I can't cast that yet" then I guess you could do without those lines. I personally hate them.

Oh right. You can turn off error speech in the interface options somewhere, though. Or maybe audio options.

It's impossible to make a close-to-efficient macro once you get 2p T10.
It's too unpredictable, if you get unlucky you might spam the macro for 10 seconds without a DS proc. Also you might have DS off CD and do HoW/CS/Exo/Cons instead because they're before in the castsequence.
Use S.H.I.T. or the likes it'll tell you to DS when it comes off CD.

so i'm starting a paly and want to make a macro for HoP and thought i'd ask it here instead of making a new thread. Basically i want it to cast HoP on my focus if there is a focus target, my targets target if i'm targeting a mob or a friendly target if that's my current target. i'm thinking of putting a /w %t in there to let them know they've been bubbled but haven't decided yet. so far i have
#showtooltip
/cast Hand of protection
i'm not quite sure if i wrote it properly and when i try it in game something isn't working right. i'm not at home atm to try it and was wondering if someone has a macro like this or maybe alittle more advanced that they'd like to share so i can take a look at it?
possibly a way to set the focus target with a modifier would be nice but if that's not possible then nevermind

#showtooltip
/cast Hand of Protection; Hand of Protection; Hand of Protection;
That's how you want it. Then the priority goes focus > target of target > target.
It's hard to put a whisper in there unless you know who each of those targets is going to be.
If you want to set focus I think it is:
/script setfocus
Obviously that will set the focus to your target if you hold down alt and press the key.
This would also require adding infront of all the HoPs' above.

ah tyty, haven't gotten a chance to check back here till now but i'll try it out when i get home.
Also 1 more question...is it worth getting paly power at lower lvls or will i not really need it till 80?

Well it's good to help you keep track of when your buffs are about to drop.
And for the occasional dungeon.
Don't see it being nearly as useful as in raids though.
P.S. I guess it's good to get it for the sake of getting familiar with the options etc..

Canceling Divine Plea in order to heal:
#showtooltip Holy Light
/cancelaura D
i
vine Plea
/cast Holy Light
missing a "i" in divine plea

For prot I use focus frames on my healer or a dps that I know I am going to have issues with... "hunter that doesn't feign death"
Here is my focus RD macro
/cast target = focus Righteous Defense
select a target and then type the following to set a focus target first
/focus
to clear the focus target
/clearfocus

Here are the macros I'm using as a Holy Paladin, and a little step-by-step on how they work into how I play.
#showtooltip Beacon of Light
/cast Divine Illumination
/cast Beacon of Light; Beacon of Light; Beacon of Light
My PVE Bacon macro. I set a focus using an option inside of Clique, but if the focus target dies, and I need to quickly reset my Beacon target, I can do it with a mouseover or by targeting the next guy in line. It also pops Divine Illumination if I'm in combat. I would totally forget about that spell if it wasn't tied to a macro.
#showtooltip
/cast
This is the basic template used for about 90% of the spells I use on any character I heal on. I use mouseover macros. The part makes sure I won't just auto-selfcast by mistake if I mouseover a target I cannot heal. The extra little #showtooltip Holy Shock
/use Talisman of Resurgence
/cast Divine Favor
/cast
This is my PVE HS macro. It has my trinkets tied to it, if I have On Use trinkets, and pops Divine Favor for an assured Infusion of Light proc. We crit often enough with this spell you probably won't notice a difference, but you tend to get the most benefit out of Criting with HS.
#showtooltip Hand of Salvation
/cast Hand of Salvation
/use Battlemaster's Ruination
This is my PVP Hand of Salvation macro that's used when the Glyph of Hand of Salvation is active. It avoids it from targeting anyone else and also pops my survival trinket. 20% is not a big buffer, so I feel having a chunk of extra health can be useful. And I honestly think I'd forget about my Battlemaster's trinket if I weren't using it in a macro like this.
#showtooltip
/cancelaura Divine Plea
/cast Divine Plea
This is how I cancel Divine Plea. It's the same button as how I cast it, but I have to press it a 2nd time after I've used it to cancel it. You have to be careful with any Divine Plea canceling macro. They all suck if you cancel earlier than you needed to, and tying it to a spell is asking for you to cancel it when you don't need to. Midcast you can hit this macro again to cancel the effect before the spell is actually cast. It might grab you an extra tick that you otherwise wouldn't have if you're timing it. This is the only key I don't button mash.
#showtooltip
/cast Cleanse
I cleanse using Clique. This is more of a PVP macro to spam on myself if I'm being chain spammed with DOTs or snares or diseases or generally nasty stuff I don't want the enemy to have on me.
#showtooltip
/cast Divine Sacrifice
/cancelaura Divine Sacrifice
This is how I cancel the "taking damage" portion of my Sac.
#showtooltip
/castsequence Divine Shield,Divine Sacrifice
/reset 6
I have this tied to my main bubble so I can pop a Sac if it's available and absorb some raid damage on top of my failure for needing to bubble. It also resets the macro if I'm not using the Sac for some reason.
/cast Righteous Defense;
My taunt macro for tanking. Context sensitive taunt.
