My first thought was exodar - I just love draenei women (call me a capraphile or whatever :P )
But then I thought that it'd be like living next to a nuclear power plant, so i decided it would be Nagrand, Telaar. Nagrand is the best place in all WoW, and there also are my beloved draenei-s.
I'd build a small draenei-style hut on the eastern part :D
Or if I was horde, I'd choose Mulgore - quite reminds me of my home IRL. Except that cows doesn't talk here ;)

I'm seeing a lot of people choosing to live in places which are packed full of things trying to kill them! So I'm having two choices.
Storm Peaks is absolutely beautiful and as such would be my choice if I were more like our characters in being the adventuring types who can kill pretty much anything. Try and figure out some way to get the Sons of Hodir to not hate me and I can steal that little ledge of ice with the skeletal ribcage stuck in it in Dun Niffelem to set up my camp! Then start my own exploration of Ulduar with a flying mount and/or figure out some way to make the denizens of of it not hate me too. All that titan lore just waiting for me! Mwahaha!
...Or when I'm bored just soak up the snowscape or hunt mammoths.
In a more realistic sense though, my real life self would not be able to stand the cold and hardship of everyday life in such an environment, lol. So the more 'realistic' choice is Darnassus. Has both the safety and security of a city and the scenery of Teldrassil just a short walk away, not to mention good fishing in Darkshore. I could always try to convince the Kaldorei to teach me how to ride and tame a hippogryph, too...
And to end this unreasonably long post, I have to get a flying mount one way or another :P

Howling Fjord. I love the scenery and the music there. Also, the wooded area reminds me of the woods out back of home :)
