People can parry all my hits?

People get some strange AoE around them, and every time I try to hit them it just says parry parry parry.

Whats that?

Is that any good for a DPS rogue?

Might be a noob question... But holding yourself alive is also important.... And alot of other rogues + warriors etc. on top.

Definitely Deterrence. It has whirling...somethings, I'm not sure what they're supposed to be.

If you are getting parried every time, you are doing something wrong. You do realize that if you attack them from behind they can't parry or dodge. Use your mouse and get around behind them. Than you won't get parried much. Most hunters use their keyboard to move so they are easy to rip through. That and they tend to run away from you which makes it even easier.

For spells, yes. Getting behind someone during deterrence and still using Melee attacks should cause it to fail still (can't parry from behind).

Patch 3.2 changed that. •Deterrence: This ability now allows the hunter to parry spells and attacks from behind as well as in front. Now has a new visual spell effect.
