This is an RP dealing with Cataclysm, but different from the other ones out there, as this one is set during the Cataclysm itself, about 6 months after the disasters have occured. So, the simple info here: Deathwing has broken free, The Worgen are with the Alliance, the Goblins are with the Horde, Thrall is off fighting Ragnaros, Garrosh and his cronies are running the Horde into the ground; which would actually let people plot to take him down.
The Twilight Hammer, the Twilight Dragons and the Black's are doing what they do best. Neptulon is up to his old tricks with the Maw and the naga island.
Of course all the new Class/Race combos are availble.
(I'm making two resevered posts; one for the character list, one for a quick recount of the last six months.)
(And there will be a Q&A created soon.)

From the Journal of Tahlia Martin
It's been 6 months since the day the world went to hell. Deathwing.... a name spoken of in whispers and hushed tones, has returned, and with his return, the Destroyer has lived up to his name. The Beast, on his return to our Mortal Planes, dragged a portion of the Elemental Planes with him, and it now sits in the sea to the east of Ironforge, the realm called Deepholme. It is a dark and deadly place, populated by members of Deathwing's flights; the Twilights and the Blacks, and his new pets; the Twilight Hammers.
This though, isn't the worst. When Deepholme rised, there were massive tidal waves all across the planet, wiping out several Alliance and Horde settlements; the most famous of course being Theramore, Southshore and Sen'jin Village. Theramore is in ruins, I have been there since the Cataclysm, that's what they call it now, but for all my problems with the Lady of that town, I'm glad she got most of the population free. The Barrens, that massive wasteland of shrubs and sands, were also hit hard, the shifting of the earth sundering it in half, split by lava and hellfire. Ironic though, due to the great Druid Naralex, the Northern portion is a verdant and green life filled place, looking like portions of Ashenvale... before the Warsong started a war with the Sentinels and clear cut most of it.
The southern Barrens is as it always was, heading south towards the Thousand Needles, the largest river in the world now. The Canyons had been flooded by the tidal waves, the Shimmering Flats once again a lake, and the Goblins and Gnomes of the Raceway have banded together to create a boating service. Feralas survived more or less untouched, just water traveling through it, but from within Dire Maul came the remaining Highbourne, those not corrupted or fled all those long years ago. Even now, these Shen'dalar are trying to rebuild their lives in Teldrassil. The great Tanaris desert is the same, but there are sounds from Uldum, the ancient Titan vault, and I've heard rumours that Brann Bronzebeard is already there, trying to discover whatever he can. Silithus is overrun by the Twilights, and they have forced both the Horde and the Alliance from the wastes, screaming something about the Old One nearly ready to be reborn.
As for the Horde.... they have undergone changes; the Goblins of the Bilgewater Cartel, after saving Thrall from an attack by an Alliance group, possibly lead by the Dragons, no one is sure, the great Warchief welcomed them into the Horde. But, pity for all of us, as Garrosh leads the Horde in Thrall's absence, and he is of the belief that only the strong should reside in Orgrimmar, so all but Orcs and Taurens are barred from the city.
Where is Thrall while Garrosh forces the issue between the Alliance and the Horde? Simple, the great Warchief is at the great World Tree, which is under near constant attack by the Elemental Lord Ragnaros and his Twilight Hammer warriors. But Thrall is not alone, Malfurion Stormrage, finally free of the Nightmare, works tirelessly with the Druids and the Shamans of the Alliance and the Horde to force the monsters back.
I haven't been back in the Eastern kingdoms for a few months, but there are rumours of Horde expansion into Stranglethorn Vale, that the Undercity has been fortified for war, and Garrosh's Horde has created an outpost of the Orcs there. The Blackrock Spire, which erupted again when Ragnaros escaped, is now under control, of all people, Nefarion the Black. Apparently, the Black survived those assaults on his lair long ago, and is gathering the forces of the Dark Iron dwarves, the remaining Blackrock Orcs, and others to his call, intending a new push into the other lands.
As for Grim Batol.... once the home of the Wildhammers, the Reds and others, is now part of a colony called the Twilight Highlands, and from the rumours, it is a hellish place, comprised of those Twilight Hammer lords and masters who didn't travel with Ragnaros, and members of the Twilight Flight who work with them for the glory of Deathwing.
I'm unsure of the Alliance leadership right now, there were rumours of a split between King Wyrnn and King Bronzebeard, but I doubt that. So, if this diary is found, please be careful in this new world of ours.

No Lore characters allowed Tauman. I asked that in Cataclysm Q&A. And i already had dibs on deathwing :P
Name: Nethling
Race: Dragon
Age: 6089
Description:
Nethling is an Elder Black Dragon, Just bigger than Sartharion. Although not much has been seen of him, he has began to bcome more active now the Cataclysm has begun. Rarely found in his human form. Before Deathwing had became free, he put his persona as a travelling Salesman, wandering from place to place.
--------------------
Nethling flew high in the sky, looking down upon the landscape. "I remember what this place looked like......." he said to himself, closing his eyes. He opened them, revealing the top of Onyxias Lair. "Finally i have arrived. They will have the answers i seek....

((ooc - alright, if I can get you guys to delete the OOC posts here, just to keep the first few pages clean. As for my character, I'm using Tahlia Martin(yes she took her father's last name as people on a certain 'board' kept laughing at morningwood))
Character:
Tahlia Martin
Location:
Ruins of Theramore, Dustwallow Marsh
Tahlia Martin is a half-elf mage, daughter of the Magus Telnar Martin and Sheril Morningwood. She has severed most of her ties with her family, and is currently searching for her lost father, who vanished during the opening days of the Cataclysm. She is 6 foot 6, with loose brown hair down to the center of her back, which she usuallys keeps in a simple tail, has soft blue-green eyes, and slightly pointed ears. Tahlia rarely wears mage robes anymore, prefering simple leathers to keep from being stabbed, and to also hide the fact she is a mage, as their are many who feel the magical community failed when they didn't warn what was about to happen.
"You've seen enough yet lass?" The coarse voice called over to her, and Tahlia looked up at her companion, a massively built dwarf with runes inscribed on his body, seated on a shattered wall. "No, not yet Shaman." She told the Wildhammer dwarf, continuing to look through the rubble of Proudmoore tower, hunting for any tomes that escaped the flood.
"You sure we should be doing this lass? We're close to Onyxia's lair, and with Brackenwall and Mudsprocket destroyed, the Blacks almost constantly search the Marsh." The Shaman, a dwarf named Kastor Windhammer, told her, keeping a tight grip on his stormhammer as he watched the skies, his gryphon partner sitting beside him.
"We'll be fine. The Blacks are having some sort of convention in her Lair so they should be busy for a few days." Tahlia said absently, using a simple spell to lift a few rocks to check under them. "Ah ha!" She said, grabbing the book and letting the stones drop.
"What did you find?" Kastor asked, stumping up behind her and looking over his elbow. "One of Magus Brightfire's spell books. He lent it to Proudmoore just before the Cataclysm hit." She told him, flipping through the book, before sealing it away in her pocket dimension. She whistled, and there was the sound of large wings, and a massive creature, a cross between a horse and an eagle landed near her.
"Hello Windrider." She said, rubbing the hippogryph's beak before swinging into her saddle and looking over at Kastor. "Well shaman? Shall we leave? I'd like to get to Ratchet before dusk." Tahlia said with a smile, launching her mount skywards, the dwarf grumbling as he followed along after her.

Nethling
Onyxias Lair
"And if i remember clearly, Meth! Weren't you one of the first to flee, when Deathwing fell during the war of the dragons? Or are you going to blame that on your pitiful brother again?" The whole room sttod silent as Nethling approached Methwing. "Hahaa, it is good to see you again, brother" Nethling said, embracing Meth in a hug
((OOC: Hope you dont mind the family bond going on :P))

Nethling
Onyxias Lair
"Yes he is coming. Fighting with Alexstrasza again no doubt." Nethling said, looking round. He took a seat against a wall, and pulled out a small madallion and started to play with it. "All that remains of my once human life...." he said with a chuckle.

Character:
Tahlia Martin
Location:
Ratchet, the Barrens
The two partners moved through the goblin town, and Tahlia looked around, watching as the Steamwheedle and Bligewater Cartel members bickered with each other as they tried to rebuild the town, even now after six months.
The Cataclysm hit this place hard, but with two goblins working on it, they got it rebuilt and better in no time.
The half-elf thought, and smiled as she heard the dwarf grumbling beside her, shooting looks at any member of the Horde he passed. "Stop Kastor, this is a neutral place remember." She told him and he grunted.
"Look, lass, I need to get back to the Hinterlands, we're still recovering from Deepholme rising and the Wildhammers from Outland returning, do you still need me as your bodyguard or what?" The shaman asked, and Tahlia smiled. "Of course Shaman, thank you for your help." Tahlia said, leaning over and kissing him lightly on the forehead, the dwarf flushing. She then passed him a small bag of gold, his payment and stepped back as he launched himself skyward on the back of his gryphon.
She waved as he circled once, then headed out to sea. Chuckling, the half-elf headed towards the inn, intending to rest for a while before heading towards Thunder Bluff, where her next contact was.

Character:
Tahlia Martin
Location:
Ratchet, Kalimdor
Tahlia was reading through the spell book, making small mental notes, as she found interesting passages.
Brightfire was a genius. His mastery of Arcane magic was phenominal.....
She sighed, thinking about Brightfire still hurt after his death in the Cataclysm. Though the Blood Elf magus had died saving hundreds, his death had still been senseless; washed out to sea by one of the tidal waves after keeping a shield over a boat full of refugee's that had just arrived in Menethil Harbour.
"I miss you master." She muttered, taking a drink from the goblin stout she had ordered and shivered slightly from the kick. Tahlia continued her reading when a shadow fell over her book.
"Oy! Human, what are you doing here?" A thick voice asked and she looked up into the face of a massive orc. "Reading, what does it look like." She said, placing her book mark into the book and putting it aside, the old gryphon feather starting to become rather ragged. The orc growled and reached a hand towards the tome. "Touch it, and you lose the hand." She said, and the orc laughed, grabbing hold of the book and holding it up.
"Lose my hand! Ha, as if little wench.... " He trailed off before bursting into an aguish scream as his hand shattered, and she quickly grabbed the book before it fell to the floor. "Oh stop crying, I sealed the wound with ice, if you hurry, you won't lose the arm.... or atleast you won't if you go see a healer now." She told him, standing up, dropping a few gold coins on the table and leaving.
"Go fast girl, the Bruiser's will be here soon and you know their rules on brawling." The innkeeper told her and she nodded at the goblin woman who pointed at the orc and her bouncer's grabbed the orc and dragged him off.
"Word of advice orc!" She called after him, a sneer on her face. "Make sure what your attacking is actually what you think it is!" She shook her head, whistling for Windrider who jumped off the inn top and let the half-elf mount. "I'm an elf, not a human." She muttered, taking off and heading towards Thunder Bluff.

((ooc - are the twins alliance girlcaster? And tahlia rides a hippogryph.))
Character:
Tahlia Martin
Location:
Thunderbluff, Mulgore
Tahlia landed on the ground near the Thunderbluff elevators and spoke quietly to Windrider, sending her into the sky again. She turned and walked forward, the Tauren guards, wearing the new symbol of Garrosh eyeing her evilly, but she merely flashed the insignia of neutrality she had acquired from the Kirin Tor back when she had began her quest and they stepped away.
Idiots.
Tahlia thought to herself, stepping onto the platform and waiting for it to rise. As she headed up, she heard the two cowmen making rude comments about her, but didn't care. The half-elf pulled her hood up over head as the lift reached the top and she stepped off it, looking around before heading off towards the Elder Rise.
"The contact.... ah, yes, Elder Winterstorm." She muttered, approaching one of the tents and knocking on the frame lightly. "Elder Winterstorm? It's me, Magus Martin, you said you had some information on my father correct?" She asked, waiting to be allowed into the tent.

Character: Sylos
Location: Silvermoon
Sylos is a Blood elf warlock, he's about 6'2 with short blond hair and glowing green eyes like the rest of his race.
Sylos walked down the streets of silvermoon amazed at how fast they were able to repair it after the dragon attacks. "Master are we there yet?" his imp firecracker asked. "No we haven't even left the city." He replied before sending the imp back to the void. He left the city and walked towards a empty patch of land and pulled out a black stone and summond his nether drake Nightmare. "Hello there freind ready for a trip?" He said walking to the dragon. He climbed onto the dragons back and said. "Where going to kalimdor there's something i need to take care of." With that the dragon lept into the air and flew of across the sea.

((ooc - and I'll wait for Karashk, but as I don't like just having Tahlia standing around, time to show something that has been happening the last few months.))
Character:
Tahlia Martin
Location:
Thunderbluff, Mulgore
Tahlia whirled, hearing the warning horns sound, and quickly headed for the center of Thunderbluff, intending to assist the defenders in fighting off the invaders. As she reached the center, she looked out towards the Barrens and Dustwallow, swearing slightly as she saw the familiar shapes approaching.
"Twilights." She muttered, seeing the massive deep-blue star-speckled dragons. Tahlia stood with the others, watching as the massive battlista's were moved into position; the heads enchanted by Blood Elf magi's and ready to be fired.
"Can I assist in any way commander?" She asked one of the Tauren captain's who turned to her with a look. "What can you do..... elf?" He asked, and she smiled as she placed her own hand on one of the massive arrowheads and setting it ablaze with a frostfire bolt.
"That answer the question?" She said, and he nodded, the Captain raising his hand and dropping it, the weapons singing as they fired, the weapons raining down onto the Twilights, dropping two with solid hits, the other 3 of the squad twisting away to escape the barrage.
"Reload now!" The captain roared, and the tauren hurried to reload the battlistas, while Tahlia and the other casters charged forward, drawing beads and letting loose their own assaults onto the approaching dragons, not causing large damage, but still giving the reloader's time to prepare to fire.
"Fire!" Came again, and the caster's scrambled, diving to the ground as the next barrage fired, taking a third Twilight. The other dragon's looked at one another then spun away, and flew off, streaking away from them.
"Good job Captain." Tahlia said, moving away to the Spirit Rise again, intending to wait on her contact.
