I love how popular opinion says 'NO WAY' this this question. However, if the fetus hasn't been born yet, the popular opinion quickly changes. Insanity. Pure insanity.
Fix't.
Throw a medical label on it n' cut it out! Imagine if someone came up with a classification for people your age... called them 'Greutuses', which were just lumps of flesh, since they weren't fully developed, how would you feel? The only difference between you and the deceased is that you can whine about the injustice. The 'fetus' was completely defenseless.

Hahaha yes a foetus can survive on its own outside the womb just fine right?

Invalid arguement. Some adults cannot survive on thier own. Being self sustainable is not a requirement to be able to keep your life. Come on dude. Stand back and look at the situation ethically.

The difference is that I am not biologically dependent on another person for my survival. If you severed a fetus from the mother in most cases, it would die. I find it so ironic that Conservatives advocate gun rights so heavily... when someone starts shooting at you, why don't you consider their right to life when you wish to retaliate? Because they are currently infringing on your rights. A fetus may have its right to life (which I disagree with, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt), but the mother has a right to her own body, and because the fetus is infringing upon the mother, it loses its right in that case.

Neither can a new-born, born right on his due date.
Are you advocating infanticide?

Seriously? This makes sense to you?

There is a hierarchy of rights. Life is the highest natural right.

I have a right to the house I live in (I pay for it), so I should be able to abort the people inside if I am inconvienced.

Obviously.
Your right to do whatever the $%^& you want > everyone else's right to do whatever the @#$% they want

In a scenario where there aren't police to remove those people from your home, and the people will not leave your home any other way... makes sense to me. Also, a fetus isn't a person, so even if it didn't make sense, its not the same comparison. Its more comparable to removing a rodent infestation in your home.

Well, I'd have a couple of questions before I give an answer.
Do you have an advance knowledge of what all of those 1 million people will do with their lives if they're allowed to live?
Will
most
of the victims contribute to their respective societies?
Is there
no
chance that any of them might commit the same genocidal act that your friend will in 10 years?
Are you or any members of your family and friends going to be people who die?
If the answer to any of these is no, then I would let it happen. Of course, if it was yes to any of these I would kill my friend. I'd do it with a heavy heart for knowing that he would commit such an act, but I'd do it.

I would do nothing. It's not my decision on who lives and who dies.

Actually, yes.
You don't do so for social/lawful reasons (depending on the meaning of abort in this context...), not for ethical ones.
Other than that little comment, return to the OP please. Abort this thread if you're going to get all huffy and puffy about abortion.

All lives are equal.
Disagree. If I came upon Obama and two beggars in a life-or-death struggle and I had a gun in my hand, I would shoot the two beggars as soon as I could get a clear shot. I would be curious to know the circumstances of how such an encounter occurred after the fact, but without knowledge of who was the aggressor, I would feel obligated to kill the beggars first.
