All lives are equal.
Disagree. If I came upon Obama and two beggars in a life-or-death struggle and I had a gun in my hand, I would shoot the two beggars as soon as I could get a clear shot. I would be curious to know the circumstances of how such an encounter occurred after the fact, but without knowledge of who was the aggressor, I would feel obligated to kill the beggars first.
Because you would automatically assume that they were the aggressors.

Perhaps. Still, even if I had a suspicion that Obama jumped them, unless I had solid proof, I would more than likely choose to save Obama. His life is just too valuable to be lost if I was wrong. The value of one's life is what positive impact they will make on their society. The beggars worth isn't even comparable to Obama. Considering that, unless I knew beyond a reasonable doubt that Obama was the instigator, I'd have to save Obama and then see how things settle out.

will make
on their society.
1) Why is it that we respect people
after
they do something great? A 90-year-old WWII veteran isn't going to make much of an impact at this point, but we honor and respect him.
2) Secondly who are you to judge someone's future actions? For all you know tomorrow the President is going to screw something up really badly; for all you know the beggar is going to save someone from getting hit by a car tomorrow.
3) Doesn't this make your pro-abortion argument fall apart? If a fetus' value is based on the impact they will make on society, then you can't kill them unless your sure their value is less than that of the mother.

Well, partially that I don't consider the fetus a living being yet, and partially
VV
who are you to judge someone's future actions?
I have no idea what a baby human is going to do. However, based on Obama's track record, I can predict that he's going to continue making positive contributions to society, and based on the beggar's track record, I can assume he's going to continue being... worthless. Also, you're really criticizing me trying to extrapolate someone's usefulness to society, when you seem to act like you know what rights people do or don't have? Yes, I'm being arrogant for trying to make a guess about something, when you're so full of yourself that you don't believe you can be mistaken or mislead at all?

I thought your view was that they aren't persons. To say it's not alive is completely scientifically unfounded.
Also, you're really criticizing me trying to extrapolate someone's usefulness to society, when you seem to act like you know what rights people do or don't have?
The way I'm using right is intrinsic, you're using extrinsic worth. Big difference.
Yes, I'm being arrogant for trying to make a guess about something, when you're so full of yourself that you don't believe you can be mistaken or mislead at all?
I never said you were being arrogant.
I will say that you're entering defensive mode again, frantically grabbing at a
d hominem
arguments.

. To say it's not alive is completely scientifically unfounded.
Well, its alive in the sense that grass is alive. Yes, I mean to say its not on the same level as an actual animal yet, let alone a human.
The way I'm using right is intrinsic
You BELIEVE you know what is and isn't right, so no, you are not using an outside system, since you have to rely on yourself to decide whether or not you know what you believe you know. You have no proof that what you believe is what is and isn't right matches to the system of right and wrong that your supposed God has.
I will say that you're entering defensive mode again, frantically grabbing at ad hominem arguments.
Yes, I am attacking your word, since that's all you have against me.

Then you need to rephrase your original statement.

None of this has anything to do with it. I don't think you understand
intrinsic and extrinsic
. Belief, God, and Hyperspacerebel don't come into the equation at all...if they did, that would make it extrinsic.
I will say that you're entering defensive mode again, frantically grabbing at ad hominem arguments.
Yes, I am attacking
your word
, since that's all you have against me.
Let me fix your above statement then.
when
you're
your word is so full of
yourself
itself that
you
it
don't
doesn't believe
you
it can be mistaken or mislead at all.
Anyways, I've got a date. So, you'll get plenty of time to mull this over.

Alright. Then my system is extrinsic as well... assigning numerical values to people based on their effect on society doesn't ultimately have a subjective factor, its just difficult to actually put your thumb on the exact value of it, just like how when you're determining whether something was murder or not, you have to mill over the facts, and ultimately you don't know the truth for certain (you never can), but you make a call that its reasonable enough to say its murder, just like I make a call whether or not its reasonable enough to say whether or not someone is worth more than someone else.
Good luck on your date though.

Haha this is hilarious. I'd drop Obama and give his stuff to the beggars. Then I'd play
The Obama Deception
on broadcasts around the world, to let them know that damn liar gone and we can get Ron Paul into office, until he dies from being ancient.
As for the OP, my BF has explicitly stated that he infact DOES want to kill a million(or more) people. I shall not kill him though, as I'd be right there firing away at our handpicked list of people in need of some lead sleeping pills.
