Anrein traveled ahead of the group, keeping his goggles on to scan ahead. Constantly his visions was blurred by waves and streams that kept causing high static with his vision.
"What is with this place? My goggles are useless," Anrein said, finally taking them out and putting them in his bag.

"That's the raw mana energy let loose by the destruction of this land. It's everywhere, and it disrupts everything." Alexxa explained, "This place is a reminder of what happens when you use magic recklessly."

"Zulu', I really wish I could sometimes," Anrein said back, seeing Tempest Keep far ahead in the sky.
"There's our target," Anrein said, pointing at the massive fortress.

"We still have a bit to go, watch your step." Alexxa called, pulling Anrein off to the side before he dropped off the edge of Netherstorm.

Anrein's heart nearly gave out after he nearly fell into what seemed like oblivion, breathing slightly faster.
"T-thanks," Anrein managed to say, "now I owe you twice," he said to Alexxa.

This...
Ryathen thought and looked at the scourge who was now walking into Hellfire citidal like they owned the place, which they did. Hellfire Citidal, the city of felorcs who had been under attack from from Thrallmar and Honor hold for years had been taken by the Scourge in a matter of days. And even at the same time the scourge attack Honor Hold.
...can't be good.
He looked at Sezras. "What was your plan again?"

Morec grinned as he looked towards Thrallmar. The Horde foolishly thought they could escape, but Morec knew otherwise.
He had organized his troops that, intead of attacking from the south directly, a massive number of them were ready to attack from the west, and even more from the east. This effectively cut off all forms of escape except for the North, which was occupied by the Burning Legion.
This was the end of there Horde here.
He pointed Bloodfester towards Thrallmar, and the Scourge marched.

"Cosmowrench," Alexxa gestured to the tiny goblin settlement near the edge of Netherstorm. Tempest Keep hovered menacingly in the distance, attached to a giant manaforge-pipe. "If you need anything before we depart, I suggest you get it here."

"I think I'll be fine, I got most of what I needed back in Area 52," Anrein said, staring up at the massive keep.
"Think we'll make it?" Arein asked.

"Of course we will..." Alexxa shrugged, "Now give me a second, I've gotta summon what'll get us up there. Teleportation is too risky, because the magics in Netherstorm might interrupt the spell."

Anrein thought, turning to the mage, "this out to be interesting," Anrein said to himself, backing away and waiting to see what Alexxa did.

Alexxa watched as Anrein backed up, she snickered slightly.
She channeled two orbs of arcane, which broke off from her hands and floated above the ground a ways away from the mage. The orbs shook and sparked off forks of lightning, some shocks coming dangerously close to anybody near them. Alexxa used more arcane to cause the orbs to get bigger, occasionally backing up to avoid the lightning that came off the orbs.
This continued for a bit until Alexxa looked like she was going to faint from the constant casting. However, suddenly the arcane orbs exploded into what looked like a fire mage's flamestrike, revealing what all of this had been for. Two beautiful, phoenix like, purplish energy birds hovered.
Alexxa looked up at the sky,
Just a tendril to rejuvinate myself...
She almost reached out a hand to grab a strand of mana, but held back.
"I can only make two, so if you don't mind riding with me, Anrein...."

Anrein was confused for a moment, then realizing that the troll was coming along as well.
"Uhh.. no I don't mind I suppose," Anrein said. He knew the facts and he'd have to deal with it, but it was mainly the fact Anrein knew Alexxa rather then just another traveler that slightly bothered him.
