I have to agree with the second paragraph here. If this function is implimented then any enchanter will not have a option if they wish to let people know they are an enchanter. It will appear in a window and it will become apparent rather quickly who it is.
Then there will be undue pressure for the enchanter to provide the service.
That is plainly wrong. All other arguments are spurious really. No other profession is forced to do something in this way.
"Sorry, I don't DE for groups."

Does this mean all professions are now free? Hey I like the idea of being able to turn my extra herbs into ink or even prospect my extra ore into gems. Or why is it only a skinner has a chance to get an Artic Fur, from that mob we all just killed? It isn't like just by picking enchanting profession you are able to DE all gear. It takes tons of time and money (even Blizzard calls enchanting a "Hard-Core" profession). High level gear requires high level enchanting to DE.
You have it all wrong. Enchanting is 2 professions in one. Enchanting AND Disenchanting. Imagine it like if Leatherworker had Skinning without the need to pick it up or Alchemist had Herbalism without choosing it.
This change affect in noway the Enchanting part of your profession, which is in fact the profession.
If you need mats and a combine you pay for them both from EVERY profession. Go ask a Blacksmith to make you some TitanSteel epics and tell him/her you will tip them 10G and
they need to supply the mats
. How about tell an alchemist you will give them the mats, but you want 20Gold FROM them to make you a flask! Enchanters are asked to do enchants for free, all the time. People even want tips FROM enchanter, for allowing enchanters to get skill-ups!
What the $%^& are you talking about? When last time time did you see someone ask an enchanter to supply the material?
Also, nobody want tips from enchanters. Most enchanters will offer gold for a skill up, just LIKE EVERY OTHER PROFESSIONS do.
Enchanting mats are BOE green/blues. Feel free to farm all you want. If you want Dusts and Shards, either buy them or level enchanting, just like enchanters have to do!
Unlike other professions (minus maybe inscription), enchanter's enchant of every skill level are wanted. You wont have to craft 40 useless Green Bracers of No Stats just to skill up. Enchanters just need to enchant vellums and they will do sell in AH (thanks to twinks). Enchanting is the only professions that people will gladly make you level up. You do not need to have your skill in the wotlk range to get full benefit from it.

1) Your skinner/tailor/alchemist examples are stupid. The others are ok, but you can trade to others the material to get their "2nd prof" done, while enchanting you cant. So there need to be a way to do it. Also, blizzard added the DE thing to group because crossrealm do not allow trading permanent items. So without it, it would $%^& up any DEing into instance once patch 3.3 hit live.
2) I do not troll you. There is not much active thread in profession forum and it is the forum I am the most active (and macro/ui one), so if you post into it, of course you will see me. And your points are against mine, so of course I will reply to them to try to counter them.
You are not important
enough to deserve to be specifically trolled... You take it too much personal... get over it.

I don't get why so many people are bothered by this imba feature. I am all for it and I'm an enchanter myself.

Actually, it's quite common that people chew me out for being a greedy bastard because I won't either provide the mats for free, or pay them to use their mats. And the tips I get are on the order of 1-2g for an enchant that would sell for 700-800g.

Wait, my low level enchants are wanted? Maybe like 2 of them? But then again, my blacksmith sells low level gear pretty well.... And my inscriptor makes a ton of money off of minor glyphs learned around skill 100... And my leatherworker makes a ton off of twink crafted items....
Also, enchanters have to actually buy the vellums- on my server, the vellums sell for 2-3 times what any but the best enchants will, when you can find them.
