Lich King Battle Sequence...Redux

Hey guys, remember
this thread?
If you don't, in a nutshell I made a Lich King battle sequence all my own. After much criticism, (all constructive, for sure) I've opted to re-create the fight a bit more, using the information currently known about Icecrown Citadel and from the lore introduced in 3.3.
Remember, this fight is on heroic 25-man. This fight requires you to defeat Professor Putricide, Sindragosa
(who doesn’t die, but instead flees to the roof of the citadel on Heroic Mode Only!)
, and Blood Queen Lana’thel on Heroic Mode as well. Once that is done, the Lich King is automatically set to Heroic mode and cannot be changed.
Progress: The Lich King (25-man Heroic Mode)
Phase 0.5:
Complete!
This phase will no longer be part of the encounter!
Phase
1
:
Complete!
Phase
2
:
Complete!
Phase
3
:
Complete. It's huge!
Phase 4:
Complete!
I found this phase to be really pointless and clunky, and a clone of other fights more or less. Don't worry, I'm moving the Blessing of the Blood Queen to another Phase.
Phase removed from the encounter.
Phase
5
4
:
Complete!
Phase
6
5
:
Complete!
Phase
7 and 8
6 and 7
:
Complete! Zomg the whole fight is complete!
Ending:
Complete!
Whole fight is complete guys.
Based on feedback, I have removed Sindragosa from the encounter. However, phase 0.5 will still remain posted just so people can have a taste of the kind of encounter generation I have.
Edit/Disclaimer: This is NOT the real Lich King fight. It is an abstract creation of my own and it is how I believe the encounter should play out. I highly, highly doubt that Blizzard will make their encounter anything like this in any way, shape, or form.

The Lich King <The One True King>
HP: 95,700,000 (Heroic 25-man)
Mana: 6,000,000
Before you is a ramp that leads up to the area where the Frozen Throne is located, at the roof of the Icecrown Citadel. As your group, Tirion, and the Alliance and Horde forces approach it, the Lich King waylays them with Scourge forces from behind.
Tirion and your group continue to the top where you confront the Lich King at last as the Alliance and Horde fight side by side to stem the tide of Scourge that rise to defend their master.
The remainder of this post is no longer part of the encounter:
At the top, the Lich King sits on his throne, then, at the sight of the heroes and Tirion, he stands up…
Lich King: I knew you would come…Fordring!
Fordring: It is over, Arthas. I will give you one last chance at a merciful death by my hands.
(Heroic Mode)
Lich King: *laughs* Over? It is hardly over! As long as I stand, the Scourge cannot be stopped. You and your…champions will make a worthy challenge. *leaps high into the air, onto Sindragosa, who is above.* Now face the wrath of the Frost Queen once more!
Fordring: Arthas! You coward!
Phase 0.5 (Heroic only)
Sindragosa
HP: 19,750,000 (70% total hp) (7.5 minute Berserk Timer)
Mana: 5,000,000
Sindragosa: A frozen end awaits you!
Phase 1
Sindragosa will circle the battlefield, using:
Frost Sweep:
She will cast this 5 times before entering Phase 2. She casts a frozen breath over a third of the battlefield, dealing 30,000 Frost Damage and an additional 8000 per 2 seconds for 20 seconds. Movement speed is also reduced by 50% in the area. This is cast once every 15 seconds. Tirion will automatically be frozen in an ice block as a result of this.
Phase 2:
She lands on the ground, dealing 8000 Physical damage to the raid and stunning them for 4 seconds. She then begins her assault.
Strafing Breath
: Similar to Mimiron’s P3W x2. She faces a random raid member, and breaths 180 degrees in clockwise motion, dealing 25000 Frost Damage per second to all in front of her over 15 seconds. Only used at the beginning of phase 2. 5 second cast time.
Freezing Breath:
2 second cast. Deals 6000 Frost damage and an additional 36000 Frost damage over 3 seconds to all targets in front of her. Targets affected by this are then frozen for 6 seconds.
Shattering Talon:
Smashes the frozen target for 200% Physical damage and reduces armor by 100% for 20 seconds. Cannot be avoided. An off-tank must taunt to prevent the main tank from getting killed.
Tail Swipe:
The tail swipes the targets near it every 5 seconds for 3000 Physical damage and a 2 second stun.
Blizzard:
These randomly spawn like on Sapphiron. Deals 6000/2 seconds in an area, and they move. Slows movement speed by 70%, and last 30-40 seconds. Approximately 6 of these will be active in heroic 25-man.
Phase 3:
After 1:30 in Phase 2, Sindragosa flies into the air. This phase lasts for 2 minutes then returns to phase 2.
Summon Broodlings:
Summons 4 Sindragosa Broodlings to assist in the assault. They spawn at the start Phase 3 only. It is highly recommended that these adds are Death Gripped into melee range.
____________________________
Sindragosa Broodlings
HP: 520,000
Frost Spew:
Deals 7500 Frost damage to a target.
Chilling Breath:
Breaths a chill air on the target, dealing 9000 frost damage to them and anyone within 10 yards.
____________________________
Frozen Barrage:
Bombards the entire raid for 10,000 Frost damage per 3 seconds over 15 seconds. Channeled.
Frost Sweep:
Begins a similar wave of breaths as in phase 1. Except there’s only 3 breaths at 25 second intervals. This attack is performed 75 seconds before Phase 3 ends.
Frost Spew:
Sindragosa’s main attack. Deals 15,000 Frost damage to a target and 5000 Frost damage to all targets near it, slowing them all by 60% for 10 seconds.
At 50% health, Sindragosa cries out for her master’s aid.
The Lich King will cast
Death Coil
, dealing 10,000 Shadow damage to a random member. This is cast roughly every 10 seconds.

This dialogue part is for normal mode only:
This dialogue now happens in both modes.
Lich King: I knew you would come…Fordring!
Fordring: It is over, Arthas. I will give you one last chance at a merciful death by my hands.
(lol copypasta)
Lich King: For me, Tirion, it is never over! *holds up Frostmourne, calling the chilling winds of Northrend, and freezing Tirion in an ice block*
Lich King: Now face me champions, and meet oblivion!
After Sindragosa dies (heroic only):
Lich King: You face me now champions. Come! And be delivered to your deaths!
Lich King (Heroic 25-man)(Taunt immune in all modes):
Phase 1
Requires Quel'delar or the equivalent weapon. Provides Aura of the Quel'dorei, which prevents the adverse effects of Frostmourne. Not having this will make the Lich King use
Lich King's Fury
at the start.
Lesser Scourge Army:
As soon as Phase 1 begins, the Lich King summons 15 Animated Heroes (most likely people from a previous wipe, who knows) instantly. This is only done once for this phase.
______________________________
Animated Heroes
HP: 275,000
Leap:
Leaps at a nearby target, instantly dealing melee damage.
Vicious Swipe:
Deals 6000 Physical damage. Performs two melee attacks on the next swing.
Rend Flesh:
Deals 5500 Physical damage, and an additional 3000 bleed damage per 3 seconds for 12 seconds. This effect stacks 10 times.
______________________________
Plague Strike:
Deals 75% weapon damage and afflicts
Nerzhul's Plague
, dealing 6500 Shadow damage every 3 seconds for 21 seconds. In addition,
Nerzhul's Plague
reduces damage done by 10%.
Frozen Stab:
Runs the target through, dealing 100% weapon damage and afflicting
Chill of Icecrown
, which deals 5500 Frost damage per 3 seconds for 21 seconds and also reduces attack, movement, and casting speeds by 50%.
Pestilence:
Spreads all diseases on the target to enemies within 10 yards. Dispel those diseases!
Obliterate:
Deals 125% weapon damage +37.5% per disease on the target. This attack knocks back the target 20 yards and removes the diseases, but drops all aggro on that target. Cannot be avoided.
Wide Slash:
Strikes 2 melee targets based on aggro, dealing 60% weapon damage +20% per disease.
Death Coil:
Cast on a random target, dealing 17,500 Shadow damage to them.
Raise Fallen
: When a player dies, the Lich King resurrects him/her as an Animated Hero.
The Lich King will have this buff on heroic:
Vengeance of Sindragosa:
Increases Physical damage reduction to 60%, and resistances to 100. Increases effect of Frost Ring by 40%.
Strategy: As you can see, this phase is rather empty of underhanded tricks. This is mostly to get players accustomed to Lich King mechanics with a nice twist at the start.

Phase 2 (90% HP)
When this phase is reached, the Lich King becomes unattackable and says:
Lich King: Perhaps you champions are stronger than I thought. You will become worthy additions when you join my side...
*At this point, the ice block surrounding Tirion shatters, but he's still weakened by the ordeal and collapses*
But first, I will finish what I should've done at Light's Hope. Tirion...you are mine! *The Lich King raises Frostmourne and points it at Tirion and a dark, shadowy prison engulfs him* And this time, nothing will save you!
*Faces players*
Your end is near...*commences with attack*
The Lich King will continue his Phase 1 abilities, but now the players have a new, more pressing matter to deal with:
Dark Prison
HP: 5,500,000
Drain Victim:
Deals 5% max health of the target every 3 seconds. The target cannot be healed or undergo normal health regeneration. In addition, drained vitality will empower the Lich King
Dark Retaliation:
Melee attacks done to the dark prison cause the attacker to be afflicted and take 2000 Shadow Damage per 2 seconds for 8 seconds. This stacks 20 times. 1 second internal cooldown.
Spell Deflection:
Whenever Dark Prison takes spell damage, the attacker takes 25% of that in Shadow Damage. 1 second internal cooldown.
Dark Spike:
Ranged attacks cause the attacker to take 1000 Shadow damage + 10% of the damage caused by the attack. 1 second internal cooldown.
Every 15 seconds, the Lich King gains a buff during this phase:
Soul Empowerment:
The draining of an enemy's soul grants the Lich King additional power, increasing all damage dealt by 25%. This stacks a maximum of 5 times (but will only stack to 4 anyways in this phase).
There is also a hard enrage for this phase:
Apocalyptic Strike:
If Tirion dies, the Lich King will leap towards the prison and seize Ashbringer, corrupting the blade. He will then raise and cross both blades and emit a powerful shockwave, dealing 6,666,666 Shadow and Holy damage that cannot be reduced in any way, shape, or form.
Kill the Dark Prison within 60 seconds!

Phase 3 (the big one!)
Once the Dark Prison is destroyed, Tirion falls to the ground and catches his breath.
The Lich King looks stunned but then chuckles and says:
"An admirable effort, but it is all in vain. Do you not realize you face the inevitable? Perhaps I have not made that point clear...Rise my minions and destroy them! Kill them all!"
From downstairs
Muradin/Saurfang: We're being overwhelmed! We cannot hold them off much longer!

Phase 5
Phase 4
When the Lich King reaches 50% health, all of his adds will be frozen in place, as the Lich King calls for a halt.
Lich King: Your willpower is impressive, but it all ends here...*The Lich King performs a slashing motion towards the ground, which causes the winds around the top of Icecrown Citadel to become harsher, and it freezes Tirion and the entire raid in their place.* It is over for you...
He then proceeds to cast Lich King's Fury, which is now a dramatic 20 second cast. At 15 seconds though, an arrow strikes off the Lich King's armor, followed by a voice from somewhere to the right...
Sylvanas Windrunner: Not as long as I stand. *Lich King gazes towards the source of the sound* You may have defeated me more than once...*she leaps about 40 yards, landing on the top of the roof area on the left side of a frozen Tirion* but the time to settle the score is now, and I won't fail this time...
Lich King: It is foolish for you to come here...*gives Sylvanas a steely look* I can start what I should've finished in the Halls of Reflection...*the air begins to freeze Sylvanas before everyone's very eyes...*
Jaina Proudmoore: *teleports to the other side of Tirion and creates a fiery ring of warmth, melting everyone out* *with an angry glare...as if fire might shoot from her eyes* No, Arthas, or rather...the Lich King...I have a score to settle with you!
Lich King: *laughs* So it looks like you want a taste of vengeance as well. I can kill you all! Perhaps I have just been too merciful... *pauses* *Raises Frostmourne to the sky* YOUR MASTER CALLS FOR YOU!
*the sound of a horse nickering becomes apparent*
Jaina: *looks thrown, taken aback* That's...not possible...
Lich King: Hahaha, but it is.... *Invincible appears from behind the Frozen Throne, flying into the sky, circling once over the area with its dreaded wings, then landing at the side of its master, who mounts him* We shall destroy you together...
_______________________________________________________________________
Logistics:
Phase 3 adds will appear at the same interval as before. However, the 3 NPCs should be able to handle them with spot heals and perhaps some dps for the minute-interval adds. In addition, the Lich King's powerful invocation has disabled the potent properties of Quel'denar...

You could have made a great warrior yourself, Paladin, but unfortunately, you do not have that honor any longer...*the winds pick up, a noticeable auditory sound is heard* *the winds blow away the snow surrounding the Frozen Throne, revealing a human body, scorched and the color of ash*
Jaina: No! Bolvar!
Lich King: Yes...he is mine now...His resistance was great...he will wield great power.*raises his blade as the runes glow blue* *Bolvar's body begins to glow blue as well, but gradually turns a resounding red, then rise up as if reanimated, there is a dark orb that goes from the blade to the body*
Bolvar: I am...renewed...*he faces the Lich King* How may I serve you...master.

At 75%, the Lich King will rejoin the fight. He takes 99% less damage, but will not drain souls with Frostmourne or use Death and Decay. In addition, the boss NPCs will help you

Phase 7!
Phase 6!
When Bolvar reaches 25% HP, he begins to show some sort of free will, and gradually looks to break free of the Lich King's control...
Bolvar: Must...fight for the master!...No....wait...the Alliance...King...Varian....that is ....who I server.....NO!. I server the Lich King now....
not...that traitor Arthas...No....I WILL NOT SUBMIT! *turns to the Lich King*
Lich King: This isn't...possible...*Bolvar lashes out at the Lich King, striking a very powerful blow* Aughhhh! *strikes back with even greater strength, knocking Bolvar southward and senseless.* Nooo! This cannot be happening! I...must...end...this...
Phase 7a: This phase begins after Phase 6, or 60 seconds after Phase 7b. Aggro resets regardless.
This phase is essentially Phase 5 without adds.
Diseases now have a 70% dispel resist and the Lich King will use:
Slash of Frost:
Deals 100% weapon damage as frost and cannot be avoided. This damage is increased by 10% for each stack of Soul Drain on the target.
Phase 7b: This phase is much more exciting, and occurs 60 seconds after Phase 7a. Aggro resets.
Firstly, the Lich King no longer uses Heart Strike or Death and Decay, but will use:
Invoke Spirits:
Summons 10 (3 on 10-man) Vile Spirits from Frostmourne. They are untargettable and cannot be destroyed by most means. 60 second cooldown.
Vile Spirit
HP: 15000
Fixate:
All the Vile Spirits will focus on a single target.
Vile Touch:
Deals 6000 Shadow damage and afflicts Vile Touch, which deals 3000 Shadow per 3 seconds for 9 seconds and disarms and silences.
Pain Shield:
Is immune to all forms of damage except Aura of Agony.
Dark Explosion:
After 45 seconds, Vile Spirits will explode and deal 2000 shadow damage to the raid per Vile Spirit.
The Lich King is also afflicted with:
Broken Soul:
Without the complete souls of the beings that originally created this entity, the Lich King is weakened, decreasing damage done by 25%.
During this phase, another boss, Lich King's Spirit, will come into existence...
Lich King's Spirit (Tauntable)
HP: Linked to the Lich King
Mana: Linked to the Lich King
Aura of Agony:
Deals 10% HP in damage to Vile Spirits, and 40% HP in Shadow damage to players in 15 yards. Ticks every 3 seconds.
Violent Shadows:
Whenever a melee attack is landed on the Lich King's spirit, it will blast all targets in a 10 yard radius for 10000 Shadow damage and knock them back 20 yards.
Decimating Bolt:
Deals 15,000 Shadow damage to the target and all within 10 yards. Applies "Decaying Soul" which increases Shadow damage taken by 10% per stack. Lasts 20 seconds.
Obliterating Ray:
10 second cast, but the first 8 seconds of the cast can't be interrupted. Deals 750000 Shadow damage to a single target and prevents resurrection effects from working on him or her for 5 minutes.
Necrotic Plague:
A disease that applies once every 4 seconds. Decreases damage done and healing taken by 2% per stack and causes 100 Shadow damage per 2 seconds per stack. Stacks 50 times and lasts for 30 seconds.

Phase 8!
Phase 7!
When the Lich King reaches 20% health, he enters this phase. He cries out in horrifying agony as his spirit begins to permanently divide from his body...
Lich King: "This cannot be happening to me!"
Tirion: "The Lich King is weakening! Strike at him heroes. Fight like you've never fought before!" *raises Ashbringer...the arena is bathed in light*
Lich King: I WILL end you now! *A dark aura of shadow and souls seems to swell around the Lich King...*
Adds will begin spawning once more. However, the NPCs will fully be capable of handling them because of:
Light's Blessing:
Damage done increased by 10%. Movement speed increased by 20%. Restores 1% maximum health every 2 seconds. In heroic, this buff is not applied to players.
Lich King:
Diseases rise to 90% dispel resist (except Necrotic Plague).
Aggro resets at the phase start.
He will begin using Heart Strike and Death and Decay again, but cannot trap souls with Frostmourne, as the power of Quel'delar is reinforced by Tirion's
Light's Blessing.
He will use
Soul Empowerment:
Calls upon the trapped souls of Frostmourne, increasing damage done by 25% (additive, meaning the first stack will cancel the 25% damage reduction debuff), and releasing 10 (3 in 10-man) Trapped Souls. Used every 30 seconds.
Runic Blow:
The runes on Frostmourne will glow and shimmer and the Lich King deals a death-dealing strike on his target. Instantly kills the target. Used every 30 seconds.
Lich King's Fury:
After 3 minutes, he casts this in 7 seconds and wipes the whole raid.
Lich King's Spirit:
Necrotic Plague:
Stacks every 3 seconds now.
Dark Shock:
Instantly deals 14,000 Shadow damage.
Minor Hope:
Will heal 5000 health to the raid. This effect is random. Will also grant a 2000 damage shield to the raid.

Ending Dialogue:
*Warning: THIS IS NOT THE REAL ENDING*
*SPOILER*
THIS IS
*SPOILER*
When the Lich King reaches 1%, his spirit begins to disperse as the Lich King collapses to his knees in silent anguish...but then...
Lich King: *with an evil hatred in his eyes, gazes at Tirion, then slowly recovers* I thank you for ridding me of that...inconvenience...It was only holding me back. I am now a relentless killing machine...nothing can stop me.
Tirion: Yet you are in a weakened state. You should just stop while you have the chance.
Lich King: Hahahaha NEVER! *a dark fog begins to roll in and blot out the light of the arena...*
*cinematic ensues*
_______________________________________________________________________________
Tirion lets out a cry of fury and charges out of the darkness at the Lich King with Ashbringer yelling: "You will pay!"
The Lich King just stands there, then with supernatural speed, deflects the blow, knocking Ashbringer out of Tirion's hands and making him fly backwards to the center of the arena, where he collapses.
The Lich King says: "You are no longer on hallowed ground...paladin. I am!"
An arrow whistles past the Lich King's left side.
Sylvanas: "Vengeance is mine! I have waited so long for this!" She fires another volley of arrows, but they just glance off the Lich King's armor and he laughs.
Lich King: "You hope to challenge me? You are weak...You will be punished!" He points Frostmourne in her direction and she begins to have the life strangled out of her...She is then flung into the roof and falls unconscious...The Lich King begins to walk menacingly towards her...
When suddenly a fireball streaks towards him, which he blocks with his blade...Frostmourne appears to suck the spell into it...Jaina then attempts to cast another, but the Lich King just walks towards her, deflecting fireball after fireball as she frantically mutters incantations and casts them at him. When the Lich King is upon her, he backhands her, knocking her unconscious...
During this time, Tirion begins to recover...and hears the voices of the souls imprisoned by the accursed blade Frostmourne...
Uther appears in front of him and says: "The time is now...You can defeat him...You must defeat him to release us...Avenge your brothers of the Silver Hand!"
King Terenas appears and says: "Defeat my son....Give him his end so he may be at peace...his reign must end."
Saurfang the Younger appears, in his uncorrupted form, and says: "Lok'tar ogar, Highlord, avenge me and defeat this abomination..."
Bolvar Fordragon stirs and salutes Tirion: "The Lich King must fall...He cannot control this world...Stop him now!"
Then, somewhere in the wind...it might not even be real...but Tirion hears another voice.....
Taelan Fordring: "Father...do it for me. I believe in you."
Tirion slowly gets up, and recovers Ashbringer, which had only fallen a few yards away. Upon picking up the blade, he becomes bathed in light, looking almost like a beacon in the darkness. He then yells out towards the Lich King, as he is about to finish off Jaina:
"I do not need to be on hallowed ground! I only need hope! Face me, traitor!"
Tirion then raises the Ashbringer as an aura of light surrounds him. The air seems to crackle with the power of the Lich King and himself...this was it, and he knew it. The Lich King strikes out, but Tirion effortlessly avoids the blow.
The Lich King looses a wave of frost as he makes an arcing swing with his blade, but Tirion deflects it. The two then enter a battle of blades, parrying each other's attacks in complex motion, but neither seems to be making headway.
Tirion then prepares to do an overpowering downward blow, but the Lich King easily seems to parry it. The two blades: Frostmourne and Ashbringer, connect and sparks fly...
The Lich King: "You cannot hope to defeat me."
Tirion: "I will defeat you. For the living...and for the souls you've imprisoned in that dreaded blade..."
He continues to press Ashbringer down on the blade, and suddenly Frostmourne begins to decay before their very eyes...The metal appears to corrode under Ashbringer.
Lich King: "This cannot be!"
Tirion: "Your blade has no power any longer. It is but a prison for the souls it has taken!"
Spirits begin to fly out as the sword decays, until the Lich King is left with a pommel.
As soon as the blade fully decays, Ashbringer pressed on and strikes its mark, smiting the Lich King across his chest and rending his armor.
Tirion then does a sideways blow, knocking off the Lich King's helm...
The Lich King collapses to a knee, and we see his true face: It still looks much like Arthas, except with icy blue-white eyes of hatred...His face is also hardened and white hair runs down everywhere...though almost in perfect uniform. His face expresses agony from the mortal blow he has sustained...
Tirion raises Ashbringer to the Lich King's chest...
"It is over Arthas, as I said before..."
The Lich King takes a choking breath...and then...speaks...
Arthas (in his original, though possibly pained, voice): It is over..after all...
Jaina, at this time, stirs, and briefly gazes towards the center of the arena...She sees two men...and immediately recognizes the other. She frantically gets up and rushes to the center towards the crouched body.
Arthas to Tirion: "You do realize...I cannot be redeemed...I don't deserve to atone for my crimes."
Tirion just simply nods.
Arthas: I have committed too many horrors...The Light has abandoned me.
Jaina rushes to his side: "Arthas!"
Arthas (his voice is even weaker now...): "Is that you...Jaina?"
Jaina: "Yes...Arthas..."
Arthas: "I did always love you, but my time has come...Listen...someone must...control the Scourge...Someone must....take my..place..." Arthas groans...He seems to reach for the pommel of the blade he had dropped...but doesn't reach it...He falls to the ground, dead.
Jaina begins to sob uncontrollably.
The cinematic ends here...

Tirion just stands there, Ashbringer in hand, then reaches down for the damaged helm of the Lich King, examining it.
Saurfang and Muradin walk in, followed by Varian, then Thrall...
Muradin: *looks at the corpse with surprise* "So it is done? The lad has met justice?"
Tirion just faces him and nods slowly...
Saurfang: "Very well...my son is avenged and can rest in peace..." *begins to look mournful*
Varian surveys the arena, and sees Bolvar at the southern end, struggling to stand, but looking back at his lord. The King of Stormwind rushes to meet him.
Varian: *as he reaches him* Is that really you?
Bolvar: *looks up* Sire....
Varian: "There is no need to call me sire, brother. So you have survived..."
Bolvar: *looks crestfallen* "I'm afraid I have failed you...I do not have much time in this world."
Varian then looks at Bolvar, noticing the sheer amount of wounds to the body and soul his friend has incurred...He becomes somber...but then gazes at Bolvar with a sense of acceptance...
Bolvar: "Just...don't blame the Horde for my fate...They fought honorably at the Wrathgate...There was no...betrayal..." *He collapses to the ground as death takes its toll, his body turns grey as the fire within dims...and his soul is released from torment...*
Varian's face just hardens...and his eyes become glassy and he sits near his friend's corpse...
Thrall: *watching the scene, and saying more to himself* It's just like...when you left the world old friend...(obviously referring to Grom)
Sylvanas: *finally recovers and sees Thrall. She gets up slowly and surveys the scene before her, seeing the corpse of Arthas, she says* "Good, my vengeance has been sated at last..."
She then notices what Tirion is doing...She says:
"Tirion, what are you doing with that accursed helm?"
Tirion stops suddenly...He had been donning the Lich King's helm. Darion Mograine then steps into the arena, noticing the scene before him...
Tirion: "It is the only way.."
Jaina looks up: "Why Tirion? You do not have to..."
Thrall: *walks over to Tirion* "I agree Highlord, you are too important...too vital. What if another disaster were to happen? There are many here willing to give themselves over...to take the sacrifice..."
Darion: *steps in* "I would be most willing to take the mantle."
Tirion: *gazes at the three, then at the rest of the onlookers. He then looks to Darion* "You truly have learned nothing...Darion...You still remain too eager to take action...As for you two...I am confident that you both...in fact...all of you...are capable of keeping this world safe and free of conflict. I have ended this one...and I will ensure that for many years to come that the Scourge will no longer be an enemy! It is time...to give myself for the greater good..." *He begins to don the helm again* "They will remain in check..."
He finally dons the helm, and his body begins to freeze. He shakes all over, but then a flash of light issues from where he put it on, as the helm binds to Tirion for all of eternity, but showing Tirion's dominion over the helm and its grim powers...The sound of ice shattering is apparent. When the light finally stops...Tirion steps forward, helm on his head, and his eyes glow like the Sunwell...looking impressive with his Ashbringer.
Tirion: "This is a victory for the Ashen Verdict, a victory for the Light! It is finally over!"
The. End. (Loot is obviously on the corpse, though I don't know if Jaina will like it with 10/25 other people trying to loot him)

Also, just to be clear, we only fight Sindragosa in heroic mode? Like 10 man heroic and 25 man, not just both 25 mans?
To clarify, you only fight Sindragosa a "second time" in Heroic mode (heroic 10 and 25). She will have a completely new set of abilities (if you've already seen the fight on PTR, you notice the difference).
Anything after Phase 0.5 is mostly part of the normal mode fight. I will note what abilities and parts of this fight are exclusively for heroic mode.
Also, I know Blizzard will probably not make the fight like this....We can dream though.

Pulling Sindragosa back is bad :(
You could've done something with Invincible - Arthas riding, charging, gaining extra damage, Invincible doing bad stuff to the raid (a la Attumen).
But I think you have the scale of the encounter right - it looks grand.
Also, this kind of thread will usually find itself in either General or Lore & RP. Any objections to a move?

I just read the Frostmourne cannot be parried thread...
Now I'm friking lost on what to do for the "Normal Mode" part (aka where you actually fight the Lich King).
Also, your idea with Invincible is a good idea. I will consider it and instead put the element of Frost (I'm using the three elements of the Death Knight: Blood, Unholy, and Frost, in some significant way in the Heroic version of the fight) somewhere else instead of in the form of Sindragosa.
Thanks for the feedback.

Aww... You stole my idea for Blood/Unholy/Frost stance on ICC... Now I'm not sure if I would be seen as rip off when I post it :(
