As for Saurfang, up until now, I thought little of him. His facts were a little funny, but not really.
It was only until Icecrown did my opinion on him change forever.
He explained his whole never-written backround in one sadish speech, and made more to his character then a guy acting tough.
So I do like Varok. You kidding? The Warsong Hold speech didn't do it for you? :P
I got mad respect for the orc.
I mean, he's one of the orcs that actually admits regret to their actions against the draenei and humans. I'd think you'd like him ever since that. :P
But ah well, as long as you like him too... :P
Code was wuvm4.
My dad sure wuvs his

But my respect in his die-hard fans has drained from what little there was to begin. They have been nerd-raging about Muradin like crazy ever since Icecrown.
And Muradin is super win.
Nerd raging? From you?
I'm just going to say this, but you Dark seem to latch onto whatevers hot at the time and try to make more of it then what there is. Muradin has had zero lore around him in wow, and only some with the story of Arthas travelling to northrend. Varian too has only come into this recently as the DBZ ruler of the alliance, which you seem to think is the best character in lore by far.
Its fine you got some respect for Saurfang, after all his story is more genuine here then anyone elses, with facing his undead son in battle. But at least admit the only reason you liked Muradin is because he made that loud mouthed speech and nothing else.

Certainly you did. Now, do you have any reasons to believe that:
a) There aren't more Undead Forsaken who are like Leonid, simply because the faction known as Undercity Undead Forsaken shows itself as the complete opposite. The same way many orcs, if not all, in all of Northrend apparently agreed with the stance Garrosh adopted towards the Grand Alliance, and thus no other orc is like Thrall and Saurfang, and they are an incredibly rare example to the rule.
and b) Every Tauren "Undead Forsaken" would be just like Trag, even though they've been through a process of excruciating undeath where their "Earthmother" brought them to death without possible exit to life or the continuation of the Life Cycle?
If you have time, then please read my two cents on the Forsaken, page 14.
Just to make sure taurenmoo saw my reply.
I did see it. Delterius your more then right about the forsaken in the grand terms of it. As you know I don't like them much myself either.
But I think you put to much into thinking the orcs that followed Garrosh's ideal were more, their mostly warsong clan members who see Garrosh as one who revitalizes there clans ideal in the horde after Groms death, but there not in huge numbers. The rest of the orcs follow the ideals of Saurfang and Thrall.

Muradin has had zero lore around him in wowHey now, his quest line in Frosthold is pretty interesting, especially because it ends with all three Bronzebeards meeting for the first time in years.

Yeah. but my point was there was nothing of him up until now, and in lore before wow he was only in the story of him and Arthas in northrend, and just casually mentioned before.

Heh, make an Alliance Dk and power level it Delt, you'll be seeing the Alliance side Northrend quests in no time.

You're missing the point. I believe that people see some of the Forsaken and mistake the whole race for evil guys who cannot be redeemed at all. They are mostly twisted and believe that their new ways are right.
So did the Blood Elves, but they were redeemed in Sunwell Plateau, although I can see some of them clinging to the new ways. The same way I see the Forsaken, once they meet the "Light" or whatever, they will be redeemed, even if only part of them.
I absolutely agree. As you said, the forsaken are 'twisted', but not evil. It goes with how I said there morality was all but destroyed by what happened to them, but in rare cases you find those forsaken who retained that, even in undeath.
I always thought, that the forsaken being part of the horde would help them gain honor and redeem themselves, but the larger percentage just commited to performing some cruel deeds most of the time, which defeated the purpose.
But it would be good, maybe now after Arthas's death, that the forsaken, being closely watched, would find some form of redemption. After all their want from revenge against Arthas will be stated, the only revenge that would want then would be against humans, but thats no way near as strong as it was against Arthas.

Impossible, it must be All Horde or No Horde. To speak of other possibilities is blasphemy of the highest level. You know this, Adams, and I find your lack of respect for the age-old rules disturbing.
You must prostrate yourself before Lothar and beg for forgiveness.
