You should app we need a good Holy priest to replace the one that just switched to Disco. ;-) unless you wanna go Disco then I can go back to Holy! 7AM is hardly mid-day for us Am-rickans. If you're seriously interested, I'll take a serious look at your application. ;-)

As a working adult and father of several tiny handfuls I always liked the early morning and late night guilds and I wasn't alone.
The last regular raid group that I ran with formalized the deal by making a guild called Enrage Inc on Bleeding Hollow. There were lots of working professionals and parents in our group. Made for an enjoyable experience.
In one month they became second in progression on the server and picked up A Tribute to Mad Skill (working on Insanity one-shotting 25H Anub being the sticking point).
Anyway, just giving my thumbs up to another alternative schedule guild.

Heh I'm a physican, so I don't have to go to work until 10:00 and lucky for me, I live down the street from my office. Sooooo... I wake up at 7AM take care of my dog, eat, get ready for work by 8AM, then I raid until 10:00. LOL! Sadly, when my baby arrives in March, I have plans for a hard-stop quit on WoW. :-( It makes me tear up just thinking about it.

Just take a break for a few months until you settle into a routine and then comeback or wait for an expansion. WoW is kind with respect to that.
With the first kid I had to wait for TBC expansion before I could get back in, with the second I took a few months off and switched to pvp as my focus because pve was (at the time) not conducive to taking breaks. Once wotlk dropped I was able to get back to the top.
With my third, I'm not sure I'll have the time, but the barriers to reentry on the high end pve scene are small. Dungeon dailies and a few farm or pug runs of ToC and I'd be back in.
Not there yet as my third (even at 5 months) still isn't allowing an amount of sleep with which I'm comfortable resuming pastimes, but I'm sure we'll get there sooner or later.
Edit: though it'd be tougher for you, as my time with my kids falls between 6 and 8pm after which they're off to bed and I'd start raiding around 8:30 til 11:30/12:00. However in your case your bonzos will be up during your current prime play time. You may need to switch to a late night guild as well.
7a-10a get ready, wife n' kids, 10a-8p work, 8-11 raid, 11-12 wife ;)

Both of my kids had a habit of falling asleep on my lap so i would conveniently leave them like that while logging into wow and play :)
now that there grown up a bit more, my schedule goes has the wife leaving for work around 8am, getting the kids on the bus at 830, logging on and playing at 9am til around 3pm. getting the kids from the bus around 330/4pm so its that time between 9am - 3pm and that's when i'm home. My work schedule has me home for 5 weeks and then away for 5 weeks so i only end up getting to play every other month per say :(. Finding a guild to support that and raids during those times is an ongoing issue. Fortunately my current guild supports the time frame but doesn't do the raid time with the lack of people on during those times.
On to the main subject, haven't snapped yet but came pretty dam close when I reluctantly joined a group to do H HoL when i was sent a tell seeing if i would heal it... whatever, I wasn't doing anything at the time and was bored so what the hell. (this was before 3.3 and i still haven't seen 3.3 since i'm still on the boat)
We all finally gathered around and saw what i had to work with and the warrior "tank" wearing an epic amount of greens and stellar blues and the rare and occasional epic item (i guess this showed that he was actually trying). After the first pull (yes i said first) and the tank went down after the first couple hits, he told me to learn to heal and i shouldn't have bubbled him before the fight because he dosn't build the range needed to hold aggro (this was while i was specced disc by the way). After that I told him that i don't come to his job and tell him how to collect cans, don't tell me how to do mine!
Needless to say that guy was kicked pretty dam fast, I logged on my dk to tank and druid in the group took up healing. Picked up a guildie for the extra dps spot and finished it without breaking a sweat. For the love of god, players need to relize that if your not geared to do an instance, don't do it!

First time tonight.
The tank starts talking about how awesome he is and how no group can ever keep up with him. I have to beg the mage for buffs and some water. The tank won't let me drink and he keeps making huge pulls and strafing behind walls as I scramble to keep him up. This results in LoS issues. We made it for a while, but the first time he died I got the boot. oh well

Not so much a snap, but I did punish a tank yesterday to demonstrate a point.
Doing H CoS, the tank has clearly never done the instance before. He doesn't know where to go and doesn't seem to understand that my shaman guildie is trying to show and explain to him how to know where to go. Anyway. Bad pull, tank can't hold agg, I'm desperately healing the group and drop the mage >.< Damn. Whatever, it happens, the mage says something indicating it was her fault, but it really wasn't.
I indicate that I'm still in combat and need to get out of combat to rez.
The tank has finally figured out how to know where the next wave comes from and runs halfway across the stinking instance. Now if this were an "I need to drink" situation, I'd probably attempt to save the pull then talk to the tank.
But it's not.
I'm still in combat so I kill off things which are keeping me that way, and proceed to rez the mage. As the rest of the group dies up near the inn. The mage and I run back toward the entrance killing anything that aggs on us and wait for the rest, including my guildie (who understood why I did that). I feel somewhat bad for the dps - including my guildie, but, hey...they could see as well as the tank that I wasn't there. And I'd
said
I needed to get out of combat to rez.
As everyone gets back I state "Please wait for rezzes." and leave it at that. Nobody says a word and we continue.
On the bright side, the mage started paying close attention when I'd get agg because the tank couldn't hold it on anybody in the group. She killed anything that came near me. Which is good, because the tank really didn't pull off of anybody, even before I let him die.
I just don't like an action that stinks of "eh, let them run back" on any instance but ToC. Especially given that most people don't realize that Chromie will teleport you back, and the fact that little mobs keep spawning all over CoS. It takes 8 seconds for me to rez, and just a few more to buff and heal them. When I say I'm going to rez, I'm going to rez.

Was healing a random HDrak run a couple days ago. Our group leader was a dps (elemental) shammy. Every single time we approached a group of mobs, she would be the first to attack, throwing out a spell even before the tank targeted the mobs. Of course, I told her to please let the tank attack first, to which she would reply "?". We got to the first boss without any real problems however, at which point she ran in, fired a spell, and promptly died (the tank and I were a bit behind). After downing the boss, she *literally* said "How am I supposed to tank if the healer can't keep me up?" then left the group.
She was in the group as DPS, of course, so the only thing I can imagine is that she thought that, because she was group leader, she was supposed to be tanking. Idk, honestly, but we all got a good laugh out of it, and thanks to the fancy-new LFG interface, got ourselves a new tank within seconds.

Some tanks forget that most healers have to stand still to heal and our range is limited. This means they will die if they continue to run because we can't get in range in time to get a heal off.
I just let a huntard die in random nexus hc 10-15 sec after final boss was dead. The noob couldn't be bothered to move and had 9 stacks on him. If he can't move, then I can't heal him.
