Shouldn't you be on Elitist Jerks banning people for not spelling words correctly?
He's not the one being rude and nasty to people just because they don't agree with his opinions.
The problem is you can never have a mature responce of that kind of guys.
My argument is this.
Letting other armor classes roll on cloth=fair change for everybody, slight disadvanrage for clothies
Not letting them roll=entirly screwing up 7classes(ok, 6, only ones not using lesser armor gear is rogues)
Give me a counter-argument and we might get somwhere.

I do not see how not letting classes with higher armor proficiency roll on some heroics items is "entirely screwing up 7 classes."
Cloth already has plenty of competition because unless there's hit on a cloth item holy/disc/shadow priests, warlocks and mages will all be competing for the item in theory. In that case I honestly don't feel too bad for having an occassional boomkin unable to roll on it. It's 3+3+3 specs of clothies versus maximum of 2 specs for druids.
I have a hard time believing you'd be cool with all 3 specs of shamans rolling on leather. Besides, in a guild raid setting most of the time a boomkin can win cloth with dkp if it is truly BiS or close to it so I fail to see the issue here.

For me, need is need.
Armor isn't a stat that helps healing/DPS
That's al I have to say.
Then I would have to kick myself as my English isn't flawless.(I'm beter in dutch, french and German)
So you're a Euro-elitist that wants everything. Elitist have that me-first yet I have the selfish attitude? You think the only thing that matters in WoW is end game-gear, not beating end-level content, and I am the selfish? Say what you want, there is no way of getting through to you, enjoy your techno clubs and glow-sticks and vampiro dress attire
/ignore
Sorry but i just have to say
"told you!"

I got a question for all you oh so smart people who think this system works: One of your main arguements against an offspec roll is it would lead to people ninjaing. What's to stop a clothie ninjaing cloth to sell if there's no other cloth guys/they click DE? Also, it's not exactly fair that when you roll greed your have to roll against the rest of the group who probably couldn't care less about winning it.
Whats to stop druids from ninjaing leather?
Whats to stop paladins from ninjaing plate?
The problem is not the loot system, it is itemization. I have no problem with blizzard increasing sp mail/leather/plate drops in heroics as long as they keep the loot system as it is.
Wait chase are you agreeing with me? Because right now I'm kind of agreeing with you lol.
Kind of. If we add an off spec button like others have suggested, there will be an issue with ninjas who need for offspec to either sell or d/e if they're an enchanter. On the other hand, if we increase the mail/plate/leather loot and possibly make it more attractive to non-cloth healers and casters, we can ease the hardship that druids, pallies, and shammies have with gearing up through heroics.
