Hmmmm...a tough decision indeed.
I think my all time favorite is Marisa "Talah" Blackswallow. I don't really have an explanation for it either. I have just loved every post with Talah in it. Most of those thoughts are based off of All of Azeroth's a Stage.
My second favorite (a combo) would probably be Nova Terra and Rhey in Killing Games. In the early days of the RP, they bounced off of each other so well, and Nova was so innocently amazing! Now I feel like they've sort of taken the back seat, but I still love them nonetheless.
And I am going to include these three characters, because they left a great impact on me (impactful as in rememberable). These characters are from All of Azeroth's a Stage, and they are Richard Argon, Salisha and Dread Lighthammer. Richard's "elemental" gun was just plain awesome! The interactions of these characters though, really was a joy to read.

I like Lisciel and Ahanu lots but my favorite of everything forever is Morec of Rivendare voices included <3
Oh oh oh and I like Hardcore Jaws and Cyrus <3
Oh and Alexander Bowie/Duskhide <3

Wow.
I'm flattered, really.
At first thought, Morec of Rivendare obviously comes to mind.
He stays there at the second thought.
And when I begin to take into consideration character development, interactions and personality, I'd say it's a tie between Gurka and Nightbane/Isundraa.

Whenever I make a character in an RP, it always ends up being nothing like I'd first intended. Sometimes I like it better, but I usually like the concept from the start a bit better.

Hmmm...A difficult choice, no question.
I think my favorite good aligned character would be Alex from the recent Makorr's. He's been there since the beginning, and pretty much stayed a good guy throughout. SUre he's changed, but he's still the guy who came to Azeroth and wanted to have fun, and he hasn't really changed that outlook too much. He wasn't a saint, sure, but considering how everyone else turned out it's frankly a miracle he stayed sane, let alone non-genocidal.
For neutral aligned...that's a tough one at the moment. I'm torn between either Dusk, or Vladamir Hawthorne.
For Dusk, I like how she is always so independent and that she generally does what she wants, which often grates on her companions and causes them to fall out. But I think I came a bit late on her development, because she's very powerful and never really vulnerable, so doesn't develop much further.
As for Vlad, he's very quintessentially mortal, and though he can be pushed around he only does so grudgingly. He's a bit selfish and doesn't care too much what he's doing so long as it doesn't cross his lines in the sand. However, he's a good person and will try to help, from what I've seen, even if said person in trouble is the very one who got him into it in the first place.
And he has a nice hat.
However, he is led around a bit too much I find in the RP's I've seen him in. Even if given the opportunity, he hasn't shown much personal initiative. Ergo I find him a little dull.
As for evil, there is no question. Morec. He was more entertaining before he became sane...ish, but even afterwards it was interesting to see how he performed. He has a plan, doesn't mind dropping people if they lost their usefulness, and knew clearly what he wanted every time, and built towards it accordingly. There wasn't any mid-plot altering of his motives, and he is now far more threatening because of it.
These are, of course, my own opinion and observations and thus subjective.

:D
I is happy Morec has risen to the status of actual villain.
My choices are all pretty old-school:
For the good guys I have to pick any Nova from TKG. Although the plot was never fully resolved (at least not in a way I was there for) the innocence and general confusion she displayed toward Ysolde in general. There were hints at - in my opinion - a past that wasn't so go via her relationship with that stories' primary antagonist, but that just made her all the better.
I really don't have a favorite neutral character that I can remember, though. I might edit this is something jogs my memory, but for now onto villains:
Dag'rema and Kalistra. You can't get any better than them in my opinions. Both were chaotic evil, but each took a very different approach to this stance.
Dag'rema was a methodical thinker. She had plans, she had an ultimate goal for Azeroth, and, most important of all, she had a LOT of followers. I had created Curho Demoneye originally as a fanboy/potential love interest for her, but the development to cowoker and equal (well, almost equal at least) made their relationship all the more interesting. And of course there was her backstory; and MY GOD! Can you get any more tragic a villain than her?
As for Kalistra: PURE. EVIL. Need I say more? Sadistic (like Dag'rema, but Skreeran's sadism is legendary in itself), powerful, and - above all else- HUNGRY. What made her such a good villain was not only was she unopposed for SO FRIGGIN' LONG, but she used that time to grow her powers and make herself all the stronger. She tortured one of the heroes into her slave, was well on her way to becoming strong enough to devour all of Azeroth, and then... Vanished. Gone to keep the story going. It would like to see a resergeance of her in the future, this time with a little more focused on keeping her from becoming TOO powerful so that she can be officially taken down.
What really cements these two characters, though, is that little exchange they had. A battle of wills and goals, with neither side being the clear victor. These two character left an indellible mark on the history of the forums... Along with another female character's who's exploits will never be mentioned but in passing again...

For Good-Guys, I'm proably going to have to say Venny Stoneglory. She's sorta crazy, and definately of the 'tough love' sort. Sure, she'll heal you and save the world, but she'll pound your face in for doing stupid crap while she is at it.
I also want to throw Vlad here, because I at least see him as good. He is funny, cool, action-y without getting crazy, and ofc awesomely written. It's hard to not like this guy, to say the least.
Neutral, Nightbane is straight on top. She is that character you hate to love, but can't stop loving. You want to try everything you can to help her, but take pleasure in watching her spiral out of control. She is violent, badass, awesome, crazy.... Unapproachable and Irrisistable at the same time.
Next up is probably Jenna, who was straight up awesome in a can. She did what she wanted, and didn't give a damn who said what about it.
There is also Loki, the netherdrake engineer, who is hard not to laugh at left and right.
And Kai'Ren and Evandragon, who I'll throw together because they work well that way. They make great foils for eachother, and are just extremely likable.
As for villains, I'm going to have to toss Alan from Redux up there. He was crazy, and played it well. A murderous psycho with a target, and a goal. He remained a threatening villain, but still one you wanted to interact with, and was likable.
Next up is Rephyx and Ira, even if they eventually flipped sides. They were awesome and hilarious, impossible not to love, fear, and laugh at all at the same time.

Best to join some more RP's and take a little time to interact and learn about some of the characters within. Reading is good, but to choose from the board it's best to be invoked and become affected by the actions, then make a judgement. Most of those selected by myself and the others were characters we've interacted with lately, when those characters and memories are still fresh.
