Sorry if this is a nuisance but I thought I'd let people know of this as I haven't seen one this neat and tidy before.
I got an email from noreply@blizzard.com stating I had a password change and etc etc.
"Greetings!
This is an automated notification regarding the recent change(s) made to your World of Warcraft account.
Your password has recently been modified through the Password Recovery website.
*** If you made this password change, please disregard this notification.
However, if you did NOT make changes to your password, we recommend you Login verify your password:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com
If you are unable to successfully verify your password using the automated system, please contact Billing & Account Services at 1-800-59-BLIZZARD (1-800-592-5499) Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm Pacific Time or at billing@blizzard.com.
Account security is solely the responsibility of the account holder. Please be advised that in the event of a compromised account, Blizzard representatives typically must lock the account.
In these cases the Account Administration team will require faxed receipt of ID materials before releasing the account for play.

Whereas the URL link, when hovered over, shows a different outgoing address. Again, sorry if this is the wrong place to do this but I myself almost clicked on it (I'm not one to be easily fooled but it seems I almost was) so I was reminding players to not click on links within emails.

I have been getting emails like that one. Funny thing is, the email account I'm getting them on isn't connected to my wow account.

Just today I got a text message from a '9099' which I think is like when you send it from a website.
Something like 'there's a freeze on your account call.. blah blah blah number'
I actually called, and it's like "Thank you for calling Bank of America, press type in your 16 digit
CARD NUMBER
." Dumbasses.

Same with me, I got one on my non-WoW e-mail this week.
That, and also the fact that the e-mail requested my password.
Other than that, the spelling and grammar was 100% accurate and I nearly fell for it.
Fellow players, you need to take note and
READ
the e-mail very carefully.

Actually you never send the password, you send an encrypted hash, but nevermind.
