Heirloom weapons?

So I'm purchasing heirloom weapons for my hunter. Is there a commonly-accepted "best weapon" here? I'm assuming that DWing the swords or daggers is best. I was thinking perhaps one of each? Or would DWing the two daggers be better?

It boils down to Agility+Hit on the dagger v/s Stamina+Crit on the sword. Honestly, I'm thinking the two daggers simply b/c I might like to reuse them for leveling a rogue someday...

I got the BoA gun and it lasted me until I was in my 70's before I replaced it. It was always a BIG improvement to whatever was available to me at a given level. I never had much issue getting decent melee weapons so I opted to not get the BoA ones.

Yeah, I'm using the chest, shoulders, trinket (and two maces) on my Enhancement Shaman right now. So the weapons would be the only things I can't use for a hunter. However, I get the impression that 2h weapons end up being better than 2 one-handers... assuming I can keep a steady supply of good ones as I level.

Old post but I'd like to have my 2 cents worth...
If you want to level in BGs I'd go for 2 swords myself, because of the extra stamina and the higher damage range on your raptor strikes, and because +hit isn't as important. However, if you want to run dungeons, I'd go daggers. It would be difficult to stay BiS with 2h drops, even though they are preferable. Of course, a good compromise would be to go for the sword in main hand and dagger in off.. that way you don't waste badges/points on a wep which may be redundant for other toons.
And because the previous post was so old, I should add that you don't need to worry about training wep skills anymore.
