So do paladins, but I'd agree with Shaman for the Chain heal lulz

Just my OPINION:
I have both a Paladin, and a druid healer. Pally was easier to level, especially at the start. If you are Horde, Tauren starting area(s) suck compared to Blood Elf.
At level 80:
Pally is great at single target heals, but difficult to heal some fights, mostly due to movement or heave group damage. Very easy to play IF you are only assigned to tank heal. Harder to play in some 5 mans, and very hard if you have to raid heal. In longer fights, my pally tends to have mana problems, especially if the damage gets heavy, and i have to start spamming Holy Lights. Divine plea kinda sucks with the major nerf to your healing while you regain your mana.
Druid is amazing heals. Most of your heals are instant cast HoTs, and can be cast on the move. Once you learn to anticipate (sp?) damage, druid healing is extremely easy and effective. With slight changes in playstyle and even spec, druids can be just as effective as a Pally at tank healing, and are great at raid heals as well. Healing in 5 mans is so easy it gets boring at times. With the proper spec and gear, my druid pretty much as unlimited mana, regardless of the fight. Time your innervates just right, and you can heal for days with no mana issues.
My suggestion. If ou can only roll 1 toon, roll a druid. While I love my pally, the utility of a druid is hard to beat.

If you don't have much experience with healing and you want to LFD level I'd suggest a pally or druid, the reason being that if you find out that you suck at healing you can always switch to tank (faster queue times anyway) or dps.
I'm not gonna lie though, I have a level 80 druid tank/healer and I find druid healing incredibly boring.

also i heard that the boa trinkets only proc mana regen if you get the killshot, if so is it better to go for 1of each and get +sp and +haste? or to double up on sp even tho i wont be getting the mana regen coz ill be healing and not killing..
sorry i dnt know how 2 link but hoping u all know what im talking about
I'd say don't worry about the trinkets, they're mostly for solo leveling when you're actually going to be killing mobs on your own. Just get the chest and shoulders and possibly the weapon. When you're in an instance you won't be worrying about your mana and health that much. If you're healing ideally you won't ever worry about health and you have water for mana.
