Perhaps too ambitious...
Do you think there is enough content and lore in each Vanilla zone to support each one having its own 5 man instance? Duskwood has the underground catacombs that could be instanced. Redridge has the Gnoll caves. Thousand Needles has encroaching Silithid. You get the idea. I would make an exception for the starting zones since that could be a bit overwhelming for new players.
If each zone had it's own unique 5 man instance that was level appropriate I think it would make leveling new characters that much more fun and interesting, especially for those of us who love the option to level exclusively by dungeon crawling thanks to the new LFG tool.

If you were a developer you could make anything you like a five man instance. If the zone has a point to existing at all, you could squeeze a dungeon out of it. Whether to do that or not with Cataclysm about a half a year to nine months away? Not worth it.

I wasn't suggesting any specific timetable and yes, it would be next to impossible to do something like this in time for the Cataclysm release. Perhaps a gradual rolling out of instances would be viable - of course I really don't expect any of this to happen, but I can dream, right? :)

.....remember BC where people had to help new guy get attuned and do long long quest chain to get key so they could start on Gruul's lair then Mag then SSC then TK just so they don't get owned in BT?
