Your gear is fine for healing ICC 10 and I'd would probably still take you into ICC 25. You were probably turned away because of your gem choice. Most resto shaman are chain heal shaman these days, including myself, you just don't see too many lhw shaman anymore. I dont think there is any doubt that a chain heal shaman will out heal a lhw shaman, in any situation.

You are fine for healing ICC 10, though I can understand a raid leader's lack of desire to bring you. You have far too many blue gems (many of which are incorrect), and your enchants (some are wrong) are low level tier. While with gear score add-on you may be fine for ICC 10, you will be penalized on wow-heroes for under enchanting and under gemming.
While LHW is fine to start with it won't keep a tank up by itself, especially with the amount of damage it takes, and your HPS willl be greatly diminished due to not chain healing. People bring in shamans so their tank healers don't have to work so hard, so learn to chain heal. I use LHW regularly, but chain heal is the most common heal because of the amount of raid damage taken.

As far as a PUG goes, people tend to look for overgeared folks when picking up pugs. Your gear is probably ok to start ICC10 but I would fix a few things.
1. Get the Triumph badge totem.
2. Use the best enchants possible, currently you are using the Spellpower/spirit leg enchant also you have the +50 spellpower enchant as well.
www.elitistjerks.com
has a great list of enchants for Resto Shaman in the Theorycrafting Think Tank section.
3. Epic gems, sorry but rare gems are not going to be tolerated by most raid leads, especially pug ones.
4. Look into crafting the Bejeweled Wizard's Bracers, the Crusader Orbs can be purchased with Triumph badges.

Since it's my thread, can I also derail it ? Thanks;
Recently there's been a term being thrown around; "GS or GearScore". I don't understand where all these people are getting it from, and why 5k is supposedly worthy of making someone a god. Where has this term come from ? Back when people were saying "5k DPS" or somesuch, I at least understood that, it was the amount of dps they did. Where is GS coming from ? Is it in-game ? Can you see it on your character page ? I understand Wowhead profiler comes up with it, but where from ?
It's an addon, you can probably find it on Curse.com - search for gearscore.
This addon dosn't use the same score for items as many others use, for example maxdps, wowhead, be.imba etc. On my server we are suffering from this disease to, lots of stuid people who don't even know what to do with the info.
About your problem: I checked ur gear and people bring players to ICC10 with gear worse then that so, like they said regem and buy a new totem.

First off
http://elitistjerks.com/f47/t24796-shaman_restoration/
read from 3.3 to 3.8
Gemming for mp5, sp, and int is inferior to gemming haste. It has been proven through math and in practice. I know alot of my servers pug RL personally and they look into gems and enchants above the gear itself.
Red:
Yellow:
Blue:
unless you need to meet the meta gem requirements. Then use
Once this is accomplished you shouldnt really be having problems getting into raids. A 4.6k isnt bad, you just have to be patient.
