Hey what's up people, I've been playing for for about a couple of weeks now, and I have a lvl 42 orc hunter at the moment. I'm already thinking about what class I wanna play next, and I'm sure I want it to be a hybrid class. I just want some opinions of what hybrid class you guys enjoy playing. Right now, I have a tauren druid that is lvl 20, but I hate the way taurens look, and that makes it a drag for me to play him. I really like the way blood elves look, so I was thinking about a paladin or priest. The thing is, I don't want to play a race just because of the way it looks. I know that is important, but I would suck it up and play the tauren druid I already have if I got some motivation to do so.

If you don't like the way Tauren look, then just stay shapeshifted :)
I think you get cat form soon if you don't have it already...

From the classes you currently listed I'm going to assume you like casters or range at least. In my opinion among hybrids Ele is my favorite caster spec Boomkin is fine but for pvp/pve but i find the Shammy more fun to play overall.
Just my opinion
Hope you enjoy whatever you chose.
Yeah, I forgot about shamans. I hardly ever see them or get grouped with them, so that is why I forget about them I guess. Yeah my friend, who recruited me, is running a shaman with my hunter, but he is a healer.

It can be hard getting past those first 20 levels with a druid, but they are so fantastically versatile!
I'd suggest trying to get to level 30, and see how you like it.You can do ranged damage as balance, heal incredibly well as resto, or tank/melee DPS as feral. I found once I started playing kitty form, I could stealth past some things, kill quest mobs lightning fast, swap to bear form if things got a bit hairy, then heal up before going back to cat form for no downtime at all between fights!
My druid is now 72, and running Nexus last night I found myself hardly even having to try while healing. Maybe the group were over geared? Anyhow I think if you give your druid a chance you may find the tauren thing isn't such a big deal.
If it really is you can always use savory deviate delight and run around in human form, and at higher levels there's Noggenfogger elixir, Pygmy oil, etc. but really you do most of your work shapeshifted. Pick the bear and cat coloring you like best, and off you go!

Priests arent hybrid they are pure healer shadow spec is just their way to dps, they can still heal. Have a guildie that heals in shadow spec for 5 man runs.
/facepalm
Yea and ret and prot pallies can heal as well, along with all the specs of druids and specs of shaman. Still hybrid classes. A geared shadow priest could heal an easy heroic with a geared group but their healing is still no where near efficient to be a real healer.

All healers are hybrid classes...
